  1. I've never bought any before, is it something you can buy from motor factors? or an exhaust fitters? or nissan only? I'm after 3 hole downpipe gaskets and also the two hole joining gaskets down the system. I guess they are probably the same as other models? so should be easy to get hold of?
  2. eek! bit garish! :nono: but as a competition vehicle it will get noticed, so I guess its wrapped that way for a good reason lol.
  3. In the main fuse/relay box above the passenger footwell, look for the green EGI relay. My fuse/relay layout was completely different to the lid for some reason. Not sure of its exact function, but its first in line before the PTU & CAS have a chance to send signals to the coil packs.
  4. oh aye... you'll meet up with stu but you wont travel 250 miles further to come say hello to me... I'm disappointed darren  :tt2:
  5. Yeah yeah... rough place innit :nono: its nicer than shitport and gaymbridgshire
  6. I'm glad I found it too! Otherwise it would have been ripped apart! Was well happy when it just roared into life! Literally roared... the exhaust isn't bolted together yet... lol
  7. Welcome along jenko... looking forward to the pics
  8. Oi less of that... olympic torch coming here tomorrow... :tt2:
  9. I finally got my pearl white NA started today.... some of you may have seen the thread last week saying that I had fuel but no spark... well after plenty of trawling through search results and web pages, I set to work with the multimeter today and followed things in a logical process... when I got to the ECCS relay I removed it and got a face-full of dusty corrosion from the terminals (its been relocated to underside of its usual location)... anyway I cleaned up the connections and changed the relay... struck up literally straight away, no funny noises or anything! Well pleased, I was starting to lose the will to carry on with it! :ninja: Job for tomorrow... good valet and polish, finish the interior and get it ready for MOT... I'll update with some nice pictures tomorrow! :thumbup1:
  10. that looks stonking... bet its worth a bit :sweatdrop:
  11. so when's Wally coming through Lincoln? :whistling:
  12. This is my glovebox install btw in case you've not seen one, I've actually put my gauges elsewhere now. or heres a 'stuck on' one lol
  13. hmmm. Glovebox then? Well hidden and you can always grab a passenger to check on boost levels when you want?
  14. The time it takes for a quick glance down and actually register what boost level its at, may be enough time for it all to go horribly wrong... I think if you can keep it on the dash somewhere your eyes dont have to wander as far and you can always see the road ahead. You can get simple mounts that the gauge fits into which you can screw onto the steering column shroud etc?
  15. one good reason for not fitting it there would be that you cant see it when driving :)
  16. This is mine... definately not the same. will have to have a dig around tomorrow and try and work out WTF is going on. I also notice that my IGN COIL relay is black and not green? and the other pic again for comparison:
  17. Someone has right fluffed that paint job up!
  18. thats a brilliant pic Daz... one for the car album definately :)
  19. thanks for checking graham  although it definately sounds like its been altered, which could be a bit of an arse :(
  20. the one I sold you dazza was the one in the footwell
  21. next to a rescue helicopter? a yellow one?
  22. I'm still trying to get to the bottom of why my NA isn't starting. I have got to the stage of checking power and function of relays and took some relays out of my TT to try, but on my NA instead of an EGI green relay, it has a bank of 3 fuses? The fuse box didnt come with a cover so I can only check my TT one, I wondered if this was correct or if someone has been swapping things around hoping that I'll never be able to get it to run again lol  This picture shows the EGI green relay and its position, but as I say this isn't on my NA its just a block with 3 fuses in.
  23. happy you fixed it mark, you seem to be able to sort any issue out! so whats wrong with mine :whistling:
