Upon stripping the door handles off my JDM breaker today, I realised that the ring around the lock can be illuminated. Does anyone have these that work? Although the handles were fully intact there was no sign of any sort of lamp. Would it be easy installing bulbs there? :confused:

If your local motor factors stock blueprint then they are the same as OE nissan ones.

I was in the motor trade for 11 years - and I still have never changed oil and filter! I've taken engines out and about every thing else but usually let other people do the filter change :rofl: As said, any garage can do it for you, doesnt matter what car it is because its still a simple job. Just get yourself a nissan oil filter (should be on the shelf at nissan) and some 10w40 and let them do it for you. If its something you've not done before then you'll have the piece of mind knowing that its been done properly.

I have no idea how it works, but apparently it comes with a control box and a load of wires which you also have to splice into ECU wiring. Cool looking gauge though!

all models have the 4 reverse lights. Looks good IMO. but often on imports people will convert 2 to fogs rather than have an unsightly fog light hanging down.

I've sold a couple of skywhines overseas within the past year, basically you just keep and send off the export section (purple I think) and give them the rest of the document. It sounds crazy I know, but the part you send off tells the DVLA to unregister it from you (and indeed the country) and it is then registered again in the new country with the rest of the form. Customs will often (if not all the time) check the document so they wouldnt be able to take the car into their country without it. HTH

I knew there'd be a mixed response A mate of mine brought his manta to a meet the other day - the styling is very 'mad-max-ish' but one thing that really suits it is the matt black paint. And someone a few miles away has just has his VW transporter painted in matt grey, I must be honest and say it looks great, however not sure I'd be brave enough to do it to a 300zx?
