  1. Happy birthday Si :)
  2. I share your pain with the gravel driveway, I moan at anyone who comes round lol. Can't wait to move and have a private are for car work with a solid floor!
  3. I could put up with the NA I think but the auto is too lazy and I like to keep the revs and cost down where I can. Not cruising along at 4000rpm lol. And why just fit a manual conversion when there's a TT engine sat there and everything I could possibly need to swap it over!
  4. Yes mate I want it transformed, paintwork is just the tip of the iceberg... ...manual TT donor arrived yesterday, do the maths ;) ;) Pic from today, hopefully get it out in the sun tomorrow for more pics!
  5. I very nearly bought that Tom! Ummed and arred then decided I couldn't really afford it lol :( I have actually just resprayed my 1:24 in midnight purple, so watch this space for a complete picture when it's all built up!
  6. New paint as in respray Gaz :)
  7. Mine has had new paint and is almost completely assembled and ready for polishing :) Sneaky pic
  8. Great job fitting it and it certainly modernised the interior. But it's one of the ugliest steering wheels I've ever seen, too chunky and ugly for my liking!
  9. Just to add, if you have a faulty one the resistance (ohms) value will be greater i.e. 30+ohms, a high resistance would suggest it is breaking down inside hence the fault.
  10. Aren't you in the midlands Jeff lol :)
  11. Just normal red
  12. Yeah great work Dave! I'll post mine to you :tt2: Mines all painted, just the laborious process of flatting and polishing left... But it's looking loads better!
  13. Congrats on your new purchase, get some pics up! TT is far better than NA!
  14. Cracking job mate, I would love to eventually get mine all redone to that standard!
  15. I've got a red NA Auto LWB that I've had for a while in storage, got plenty of history and about £7k in receipts. Obviously no mot at the mo, but depends if its something you want to take on or just want one that's ready for the road straight away.
  16. Why is there blood all over the starter motor? From all those scraped knuckle jobs?
  17. Coming along well Tom, looks good on those rims! Still not found the chrome centre caps, but will send them to you if they show up!
  18. Great job as always Dave. Them intercooler bolts look a bit rusty though :tt2:
  19. Which model year came with the ejector seat? Wouldn't mind retro fitting one to my 99 spec, or was it US only?
  20. I'm happy just trundling along in my Z, waiting for people to turn their heads and appreciate seeing a nice car! ;) Then again it is currently an NA auto lol.... Ask me again in a few months :whistling:
  21. Is it to due to the age-old trick of a fuse being pulled so the mileage doesn't go up?
