I have a clifford alarm on my Z - its an oldish one (white fob!) The indicators flash when alarm 'goes off' but siren doesn't sound. You can press the unlock button and it will reset the alarm, although it doesn't operate the locks. Finally, it doesn't seem to immobilise the car as I can start it without even touching the fob. The person I bought it off said it was some connection in the passenger door, but there seems to be a multitude of faults there. Control module or something? Is it hard to rip it all out and get another one fitted? :boat:

If your turbo timer is wired up wrong then maybe so gazza... :hang: should be wired to the handbrake switch, so once the handbrake is released the engine cuts out. Unless they try and drive off with the handbrake on :lol:

when you selling your Z then?

My thoughts are that you should really lower your car hth :winkiss: I do like the black insides though, like you say looks more aggressive. Saying that though, Isaac's looks good but maybe because it goes well with the grey.

have you got rid of the same stuff from the sides too?

oooh nice... HIDs are certainly a good upgrade for a Z!

got some silver enamel spray from b&q earlier - looks much better :) bent fins are more noticable now LOL :smash:

how do you go about claiming then? sounds like you need a picture. Hit one in my zed last week and the tyre isn't holding pressure now, my mate checked it for punctures and told me its buckled :(

Shame to see you selling your Z mate, but that supra is damn nice! how much was it? I've only seen supra dashboards a handful of times but I think they look alright!

I want to get some accurate weights for some of the above - in kg. Went to B&Q the other day and got some scales, the missus thinks they are for the bathroom lol. :lol: I'll try and weigh all the spares I have so we have a good list, ideal for ideas behind weigt saving, postage costs etc.

I'm guessing a spray tin Bri? brush on might be a bit thick lol... Do you do them black for a subtle appearance?

I'm in the process of putting my Z on a diet... so thought it would be a good time to review this thread and add some measurements of my own,we could maybe get a new list put as a sticky? :thumbup: Daz / Legrath - Did you get any further with your weights lists?

sounds like you need the thin plastic trim, if it fits above the stereo?

haha didnt work on it in the snow, although the driveway provides plenty of difficulties at times :cursing: If I use carb cleaner it wont clean up the old overspray would it?
