  2. yeah I see the details are a bit vague.. but possibly worth a few enquiries.

  4. Welcome to the forum Ste... you are certainly making the right decision by going for a Z... hopefully you'll love it! I would tend to suggest that £3k would buy you a decent manual twin turbo with lots of goodies fitted, theres plenty out there but theres dogs too. Just to reinforce what Daz says, its best to go for a forum car but theres still nice ones out in the wild

  6. ooh looks like you got yourself a garage!
  7. still need to fit the ones I got 4 years ago lol... the font is a bit boring though :death:
  8. that is FOR SURE your problem. So don't think they are too wide for your shortie, its all down to the tyres.
  9. What tyres are they? cheap wide tyres are absolutely terrible in the wet, really really bad.
  10. I need some rear coilovers as mine are leaky :(
  11. mine was a prettier response :tt2: you could go back to standard suspension, but I'm guessing you like the lowered look? or not too bothered?
  12. Hi Rich, People get confused with the different terminology, a coil-over-spring is basically the damper with a spring over - just the conventional sort fitted to most cars. the following picture shows this: there is no adjustment, however the coiled spring part can be changed for a shorter, stiffer version. The term 'coilovers' of modern days relates to the following picture: note the blue collars at the bottom under the spring -these can be rotated on a thread to effectively lower or raise the ride height. some coilovers also have adjustment at the top, like these: if you cant see any fancy colours under there then chances are they are standard nissan dampers with aftermarket lower springs on, but generally all lowering kits will stiffen the ride up as they are aimed at 'spirited' driving etc. hope that helps

    what he said ^^^ :whistling:
  14. any hydraulics specialist should be able to make some up, as long as they have the correct ends (if applicable)
  15. Ok is anyone else interested in these? Me and Gonzo have been looking into them, $380 (£250) is the delivery price for a pallet to the UK, which can hold up to 6 pairs. If we order multiple pairs then there will be a further $50 off the price of each pair. Obviously the more orders that are placed the delivery charge will be divided equally and would work out cheaper. For example:- the Bride VS with graduation trim - would work out (including delivery) for the pair: £459 if 2 ordered £417 if 3 ordered £396 if 4 ordered £383 if 5 ordered .... and so on Bride GS - £592 if 2 ordered £550 if 3 ordered £529 if 4 ordered £516 if 5 ordered obviously the savings apply to the other styles too. So anyone interested now? I daresay we could pitch in at a lower amount still, sure the seller is making a killing already.
  16. Think you chose the best colour Phil
  17. ****ing puff

  20. happy birthday guys
  21. oooh very nice  not even a sneaky pic? ;)
  22. Have you got any pics of you on your old Z? What rear spoiler did it have?
  23. I know what you are saying Si, believe me if I had bought my Z for like £5k then it would be bodyshop all the way. BUT.. it was £800 and is shaping up really well as a complete package, come summer it should be an awesome machine and if the paint is really that shite it'll get a proper paint job at the end of this year.
  24. Those parts from a breaker would cost £300+ Nah thanks for the idea matey, but I'm happy with my cans lol, it will mean more to me and I'm well proud of the progress so far. Gonna borrow a gazebo off my mate and do the front end this weekend - bumper, wings, bonnet
