Undecided how to have them refurbished... painted, with polished lip or get them fully polished / chromed? I'm glad no one else bid as I was out at the time and I got the mrs to put in £400 LOL :shock:

FTO is the same fitment, just have to check for sizes though as GTO wheels are obviously wider than the FTO. Anyway mr midwaleszx... you not got a new camera yet lol... all your pics look like some sort of steamy french porno :lol:

I spotted them as soon as they came on ebay, was a 3 day listing. I was hell bent on getting them lol. So I went to my old shed at my dads and had a rummage around, found some 20" wheels, sold them within a day for £450.. I sent this chap a message asking for more pics and if the dish was bigger on the rear etc, he had no other pics but said the front dish was 35mm and the rear 65mm, thats good enough for me I thought! I asked him what make they were, but he didnt know. (I already knew though ;) ) They are basically the same as my current ones but mine are 17s, these are gonna get totally refurbished and I cant wait :thumbup: :rockon:

Not me... tomorrow I pick up my 18" Work Equip wheels with great condition tyres - I was the only bidder and won them for £250 :tt2: PICS TO FOLLOW :rockon:

I think as a total package the price is ok, what would you pay if it was standard? Best thing for that Daz is a lick of paint, I painted mine with hammered finish paint, I'll take a pic for you as it looks good!

haha yeah! I still got a truck, its reminiscent to a skip lorry lol, it picked up magnetic crates then with the touch of a button it loads it on the back! :punk:

Fair do's.... thats the reason I bought my first one. There are nice UK models kicking around for under £3k, but you'll nearly always find they are a lot higher mileage than the imports. (not always a problem though)

£1790 isn't a bad price for a manual TT. Saying that I paid less than half that for mine :tt2:

£3k will buy you a good one. Any reason in particular you are after a UK model?
