  2. F*** carbon fiber, I want a camera with that zoom level!!!
  3. Really looking forward to hearing the sound clip! ;) I had a twin exit kakimoto on the last Z and still trying to find one for this.. I'm not bothered in the slightest about having one pipe out the back.
  4. They just look like 501s...? or are they bigger - 922s?
  5. I've had a few turbocharged cars over the years, and the 300zx is certainly the quietest when it comes to turbos spooling up. I'm assuming their location and maybe size doesn't really help, but is there anything that can be done to make it louder? My mate said that on his 200sx he got some large bore copper pipe and put it somewhere on the system replacing a rubber pipe (cant remember where!) and the noise echoed through and sounded great. Do you think thats something that can be done on a Z? or am I just being stupid? :online2long:
  6. Thanks a lot, I seem to recall a friends dad having a 'Ski' but I don't think it was a 1986 model. More like an '88. hmmmm.
  7. I've got some on the way for my Z... but I know as much about coilovers as I do about special edition novas from 1986... :confused1: So I wondered if anyone has had any experience with the aforementioned coilovers? thanks guyz :wheelchair:
  8. All I know is since my mate called it a Dollop-o'-Shite the name kinda stuck. HTH :tt2:
  9. I know you aint mechanically minded, but is jacking the car up and checking out the bushes within your power?
  10. Is that YOU Daz?
  11. On my UK model I had to replace the front tension rods as the rubber was worn, and they ripped my tyres to shreds on the inner edges! I have a full set of standard suspension arms if they find anything knackered when its in the air.
  12. must be cheap now, its 15 years old
