  1. I don't have skirts but yeah if I fit this bumper I'll get some. Should look good with the work equips too.
  2. Thanks for the support guys.. As soon as I got the zed I wanted a scarab bumper, ended up travelling across the other side of the country to Bri's house for it.. then I guess the likes of FunkySi put me off fitting it! I guess at the end of the day I can always go back to standard if I fitted it.
  3. thats what I'm worried about LOL
  4. I've had this bumper for ages, and decided its time to do 'something' with it. :cowboy: Some Z's I see with scarab bumpers look brilliant (Daz's & Nick's for example), whereas others dont look so good. I think they suit dark colour cars better, which is good as my car is going 'a dark colour' (not decided which yet!) So please air your views whether you think it will look good or not, and help me decide. One plus point is that it'll give me far superior air flow to the intercoolers, but I've also got carbon fog light ducts to go in. The nose panel is another 'unsure' mod. ps. I know its not fitted on properly :whistling:
  5. Greddy also do the Rebic range for additional injector control.
  6. Happy Birthday VinZ  Hope you have a shiny one!
  7. Looking at his avatar I get the impression he would put up with the change in sensation :whistling:
  8. Hello and welcome to the club Sam, look forward to seeing some pics of your car!
  9. I've got that style off with pin nose pliers before, but I don't think mine were incredibly tight. theres various 'locking nut remover tools' on ebay, that are threaded so basically, as you 'tighten' it onto the locker it digs in and loosens it. You taking the brakes off too daz?
  10. Glad you got it sorted  I guess you aren't so 'mechanically incompetent' now eh ;) You'll pick up various tips and tricks whilst on this forum, and a quick thread like this has saved you time and money of going to a specialist! (for now) :)
  11. Not sure of any local to yourselves, whats the problem exactly, just wont start? any funny noises / dash lights etc?
  12. You remember incorrectly lol.... thats a HUGE bolt :tt2::tt2:
  13. Yep sure is, open bonnet and undo two 10mm nuts. I assume you've got an aftermarket filter on?
  14. Really sorry to hear that chris... we had a kitten die from kidney failure but we didnt know why :(
  15.        agree with the MAF thing, common problem.
  16. Haha thats cool!
  17. figure of speech craig
  18. Some ebay ads are pretty vague when it comes to details - but this one for a 300zx just takes the piss. Do some people not want to sell the car??!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nissan-300zx-tt-auto-/250646541741?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a5bb2b5ad It looks very nice, but at £7k, I'd want some sort of idea what I'm looking at. :pinch:
  19. Sorry to hear it  Bronze looks good, but your car wears dark colour wheels well, so anything anthracite-ish would look great
  20. Yep it swings by Lincoln then fooks off up to Grimsby, thats another 40-odd miles! :scooter:
  21. sounds like you got a bargain! but if you break it you'll easy get your money back.
  22. It was just as you come off a roundabout, but that particular roundabout is known for being slippery, they have resurfaced a few on the same stretch of road but not this one. And you'll never believe this. The Z didn't hit the A46 sign. A BMW crashed yesterday in EXACTLY the same place
