  1. I have an amp going cheap if you want one :)
  2. thats ace mate, we would like one of the thermal imaging systems but they are £2k+! you havent got hundreds of those stashed away in your garage have you?
  3. is there any signs that it may have been leaking, i.e damp patches, damage etc? Not 100% sure but I think the only way to actually check it is to get the AC system recharged with a leak detection dye added, the system is then checked over with a UV light and any leaks become immediately apparent. Don't forget you've got the evaporator behind the dash too.
  4. oh no, not again
  5. my last zed did this, there was 7mm left on the outer edge, inside was down to the canvas! the reason mine did it was the front tension rods (if thats the right word?) the stick things that bolt with 2 nuts to the lower arms. the bushes were knackered.
  6. thats sh!t mate :( hope you get some sort of outcome from it from the suggestions already mentioned :(
  7. jippos definately.
  8. They are ok mate, but £500 is a bit heavy for those in 17". With regards to ebay specials I personally would never have them, don't really like the look of them and heard too many stories about laquer peeling and blistering within months of them being new, even with no kerb damage to start it off. Did you look on driftworks? with a budget of around £500 you should find some decent make jap split rim wheels, modenas are ok, but you may also find some other decent brands, work, volk racing, blitz etc.
  9. you done a quality job with that daz!
  10. Congratulations to you all Dave :thumbup1:

  13. cant remember, more than likely chicken burger and chips
  14. thought so :shifty: also have a look on the driftworks forum, theres a for sale section just for wheels now, you have to get in quick though if theres some you like as the drift boys soon snap them up.
  15. tein coilovers on mine
  16. search ebay under wheels tyres and trims for: 5x114.3, 300zx, supra, soarer, rx7, gto, 3000gt, I've got some 18" 5 spoke deep dish work equips? not for sale though :tt2:
  17. pot, kettle, black :tt2:
  18. air con? whats that? ;) that got binned off ages ago gaz :cool2:
  19. depends on the road surface... for mine i'd give it 2/10 on bumpy sh!tty roads, bounces around all over the place, but on a smooth road its more like 8/10 and handles really well.
  20. Well after my mate took me out in his 400bhp+ 200sx earlier, it made me realise I really must get turbo power back!!!! :blushing: His car is fappin' quick and I was rather jealous lol... so I got home at 5:30 and straight away got the tools out and started off removing the engine from my white breaker. Only had a couple of hours on it before it started getting dark, but already making noticable progress (for me) :sweatdrop: can only jump on it when I get a spare few hours unlike some of you slackers :) but plan to have the TT engine removed by the end of the week and bolted to its new gearbox and get a few more goodies fitted. So hopefully soon the NA will be gone and the black one will be twin turbo powered, its already had a TT manual box conversion coupled to the NA rear diff so that'll save some hassle and obviously no pesky hicas :tank:
  21. SORTED IT  :nana2: the previous owner had electric window problems for ages on this car, today I got them fixed once and for all! So the drivers window switch was faulty which I knew, but upon checking the passenger wiring and stripped back the plastic sheath to reveal a bullet connector that had come out totally! re-crimped the wire with through-crimps, and now its all good :thumbup1:
  22. welcome along Wayne  I want a 350Z, but by the time I can afford one I think I'll be wanting something else! :(
  23. its matt silver. lol
  24. thanks for the input jeff. Will start swapping wiring over from the breaker if I cant pinpoint it, hopefully then it'll fix it!
