  1. the engine is 1996, and is a twincam single turbo z31? i take it thats the really limited edition one, towards the end of the run the 300zr or whatever its called? didnt realise they where still in production in 1996
  2. well i only managed to get the front about 18" off the floor, started getting a bit precarious after that. anyways about an hour later everything in back in place including the new thermostat. i was surprised after the comments people have made how ok a job this is. the 50mm japspeed rad slid straight into the tt, without me even removing the intercooler ducting.bit tight but it went in easy. my only question is with space being so tight what did you guys use to secure the front water pipes? did you reuse the clips on there? the front water pipes were absolotly mint. :D no signs of corrosion.
  3. ive sent you an email buddy
  4. Cant bting it to you before friday, you could collect tonight if you need to. If you dont neef it now thoigh il just hang onto it
  5. Its more likly a wiring falut or a dead injector. 6 usuallys shits the bed first
  6. not yet havent had chance to get home and do it. il send you one tonight.
  7. thats fair and good but, they are getting slyer. my father was involved with the police and retired afew years back and has 6 points now... over the last sorta 10 years. the whole no excuses scheme going on in dorset is pretty tight. there is no attitude test. its black and white your speeding you get a ticket. one of my customers recently got done for 35 in a 30 thats 100m section out of a 40 road. at 11.30 at night on her way home from mass. shes about 65 0r so. they have also recently started hiding on the overpasses first thing you know about your 5-10mph speeding infringemnt on the dualy is the blue lights. fortunatly they are giving out lots of these driver awareness schemes with £100 fines. but its a bit heavy, its really being rammed home atm, with mobiles unmarked cars sat in laybys teams sat on overpasses. you get the picture.. its all abit heavy handed atm. imo of corse
  8. whoop homein one piece even gave it some turbo stick and still no smoke, must have just been that dead hedgehog burning off lol.
  9. your only down the road :) im always about in mine.
  10. thats cool im in ringwood alot, il email you then il drop it into one evening as i drive through ferndown everyday.
  11. theres not really much too it its simply a large pice of wire looped round. its just called the battery fuse. yor best of just getting one off a breaker. or seeings as your in weymouth pop over to bmth see me and il give you one.
  12. they are on a purge locally, just got my first one fater 7 years. loads of people are getting its a scheme called no excuses. :( i seen about 10 mobiles a week atm and the undercover cars like the one that got me are waiting in most laybys.
  13. Im still on corse to arrive albiet with a dirty car with mismatched wheels lol can I take your mob no murtle just incase I go pear shaped
  14. tbh im not a fan of cars being too low even standard ride height these things are a bit precarious in the countryside, i hit a dead hedgepig the other day made a good old clunk when it hit the exhaust
  15. you may need front adjustable camber arms, depending on how low you go, the stok rears should do enough adjustment unless your planning to deck it. ive got 20mm on the rear and its ok and around 35 to 40 on the front and taht seems ok, maybe a little too much neg for the road. need to get it set up again. make sure you buy 300zx ones not skyline ones, i cant remeber the ins and outs of it but there are issues there
  16. :gun_bandana: i renewed my contract early this year, and got a nice shiny new motorola defy. the one advertised at the bullet and bomb proof water proof all singing all dancing smart phone. after two weeks its broke, the speaker shit the bed. not impressive for something billed as indestructable. anyways i called vodafone explained how i wasnt impressed to be further unimpressed, by the response youve had the phone over 7 days and because of that you cannot change it, we can fix it via your insurance, which will cost you £20. and will take 5 to 7 working days. i wasnt very happy and expalined my frustration, i was then told to go into my local store who would simply swap it for a brand new one for me. i excepted this and went to town. i was then told they didnt do that had exactly the same conversation and after about an hour i ended up walking away with my phone being sent off for repair under manufactuers defect(its a known defect). two weeks later i got the phone back. no charges, thank god that was all sorted. two weeks later i woke up my alarm clock haddnt gone off in the morning on my fully charged phone, fortunatly i wasnt late for work, the phone had decharged itself over night. so i charged it up that morning, and guess what it was flat by midday, and the battery was so hot i could feel it through my black jeans in full sunlight, i popped the battery out and it was HOT! hot hot. this stoke me as bad. so back on the phone, really annoyed now, and really not wanting the phone anymore, simular conversation and the round the houses, i demanded to talk to a manager was on hold for about 20 minutes before i get one, who esentially tells me the same youve had the phone more than 7 days we cant exchange iot its policy. as you can imagine i told her what i thought of policy and wanted to know what she was going to do, she sent me a battery. its been ok since that. anyways going through my acounts this morning and i find a phone bill for £160  i call up, usual on hold for ages buisness. the guy i speak to explains my old numbers went cancelled properly and i would be charged for another month as it takes 30 days to cancel. (er no i will not) and that i had been charged for two months at once because of the new system i had bveen put onto. i let vented my anger at him, they have refunded the extra charge and cancelled the other contracts with immediate effect. if it wasnt for me checking my bank account i wouldnt have noticed. im glad that they have "sorted" it out now. but christ how many cock ups and how much bad customer service can you get from one company in three months. i wont be renewing with them in 18 months time!!!!!!! its the way they speak to you, as if they are the goverment and they wont budge on what is their policy. the service ive recieved in general has been shite! and they will be reciving a proper letter of complaint.
  17. Feul fowled plug. Get a pair of mole grips and burn the petrol out on the hob it will then spark again properly
  18. it may not be that not getting the spark and the fuel, it may be taht your not getting it at exactly the right moment, i think you nee dto go and check the base settings, im sure this is a zed world 20 minute wonder fix problem lol.
  19. gotta keep a close eye on the bank account, ive been spending like crazy last two weeks. but im still scheldled in for this
  20. i do something although im not sure how safe it is...... lol prob not very. simply work back through the engine with it running, and disconnect each plug, by lifting the coilpack connection, or injector connector. when or if the engine note changes you know that one is working. when you reach one where no difference is heard tahts the cylider that isnt firing. make sure to do a compression test aswel. does your exhaust run bank to pipe with no h or x pipe? if there is a cross then ou wouldnt be able to rely on the exhaust.
  21. including buying the tt and blowing up the engine it the total bill stands between 5-6 grand. i dont intend to create a show stopper or a track king, just a toy that can be thrown round atrack day or two.
  22. that needs to xterminated.
  23. Yeah I second that, speak to paul I believe his name is they are a very friendly and helpful company and will prob be glad of the feed back
