  1. Haha I recognise the laptop squatter!
  2. The damn shell is worth more than that in scrap weight. If that was local and I was in my new house it would be on my drive already
  3. Yeah I was being serious aswel, don't forget Pete the indicator units are about a hundred bucks aswel. 700 for a 99 spec front end is a good price all in. I don't think people were realising that just assuming that was the cost of the bumper itself.
  4. 700 might be plus indicators and paint which is probably about right.
  5. It's quite probably for the autobox. As they dont really have a proper cooler, so that is a mass upgrade. I'd say that's too small for an engine oil cooler. It's dinky lol.
  6. Just bin the bloody thing! I can't believe you have a subdoofer! :pinch: Honestly I use mine in the zed so little I forget I've even got one at times. I was singing to myself on the way to Haynes for a good 20 minutes before I remember I could press play. You don't really want "banging tunes" do you?
  7. Silly thread, but they defiantly go faster than that.
  8. Just so you know, although the 280 was a Datsun, Datsun was earlier called datson. They changed it to the later Datsun for a few reasons before dropping it completely for the Nissan brand.
  9. I have to say the oem design is right one. It was those long lozenge shaped lights that first caught my eye when I saw the first one. They really are so distinctive. The afterburner or pot lights in any variety just look like you wanted a skyline rear end, which look like corvette lights. A copy of a copy. Grocers work, primarily because he doesn't have the centre panel and its 4 reversing sections cluttering up the place. When I first got my zed I wanted to go body kit mental, that quickly passed. Now I've seen the car for a few years and looked at it from every angle seen plenty of well done examples, I know the look I want. OEM+ little smoother little lower but clean and simple, the benifits of this style of corse is not only does it makes the car worth more bit its cheaper too. Over the next year there's going to be some big, little differences to look at on my car, this time next year is will be very simular but also very different.
  10. It's not just a local problem, speed humps nationwide are getting bigger and bigger. One ripped the exhaust off my old car and that had more ground clearance than a stock z32. The front bumper seems the least likely bit to get damaged though ESP now it's stuffer, it's the chassis rails and mid pipes that suffer.
  11. The oem one is urethane, the carmad one is fibreglass.
  12. I have to admit I don't like the NSX I know that's an unpopular opinion but I just don't like them.
  13. Second hand ones do come up, not very often though. I'd say I'd be waiting 12 months really to find one, luck of the draw. If your not worried about having oem, carmad does good quality fibreglass replicas. Don't forget you will have to source the indicator units as they are also different.
  14. Just for future referance, because its done now. You don't have to replace those kind of pipes with oem, as i say earlier some 8mm diameter water hose will do it. Just take an off cut to your local hydraulics/hose place and ask for some high quality hose the same Id as what you have. I replaced all my turbo coolant lines and bypassed my throttle coolant lines, with Goodyear hose for less than that one piece from Nissan.
  15. Vodkashots has experimented with baby seats I think you'll find, although he's fallen off the face of the earth ATM.
  16. From what I hear you don't need a flare mate, you could just stamp on said scrott.
  17. Every mot I get a comment on rear tyres, what can I say my car likes to eat them.
  18. Type 4 for sure. It needs something Lairy esp with those side skirts.
  19. If you want customer service send a girl. My mrs needed a wing mirror, do her and her mate went to the scrap yard. Not only did they blokes there remove it off the car they fitted it and didn't even charge! If I had boobs I'd get free shit too.
  20. The two pipes labeled with yellow in the pic are the water feed and return. The oil feed is the one with the heat proof tube over it going into the top of the the turbo core.
  21. I seem to remember 4 plugs are fed by one part of the loom the other two another piece. Can't remember if its the front two are seperate. Your defiantly not getting any electrical signals to the injector or coil pack connectors?
  22. That's a water coolant hose for the tub. The oil is a hard line that comes in at the top. Loos like a brake line, the return is a large say 16mm diameter tube on the underside. Some good quality 8mm water hose will replace that fine and dandy.
  23. It would seem not, sadly the final days are coming though.
  24. I CAN DO ANYTHING :D I just can't promise it will end well....
