Saw the yellow one the other day, two guys looking at it, looks like it's got a set of works alloys on it aswel. I wonder if I saw you then last week on the way to Portsmouth. Seems to be a fair few in haunts now.

Removing main ecu engine loom
Ahhhh, Barry's bodge shop :p Sounds like you will have to get on with it, space is tight generally as you know. With things like that it's often best to give it over night and come back to it, you will be much faster and less stressed.

Arch rolling
Good to see something is occuring with it, last time I saw it jimmer had it. That was shortly before it went up for sale.

Exactly, I think that's why a lot of blokes end up spending it all, boredom. One of guys often just goes to the cinema, that adds up.

I was talking to rich about that very same thing. In my head he had long hair, looked like a rocker. I was find it interesting, like how you perceive a radio presenter to look.

International rescue mate. Nah I work for a electronic water control systems company, most of my time is spent servicing water controllers, dosing pumps etc for commercial swimming pools, everyday is different though few weeks ago I was in Plymouth sorting out an ORP controller for Ozone treatment on a shark quarantine tank... ATM I'm booked in for two days in Torquay to fit and set up a new control system for a hotel pool. My actual job title is a service technician , but that's pretty vague, I literally get up to all sorts.

Working away is boring. Often I'm on my own, I'm in Torquay this evening, finished at 5 went to the hotel, went for a walk had dinner... Bored! TV is rubbish poverty vision, internet access is very limited, ie I have to wait till the e comes up to post. Anyone else regularly do this boring routine?

Engine Heads ported
Power zed will be able to do that job to a very high standard mate. First port of call for all vg30 building processes.

fitting engine
With it separated, we managed to crane it in from the side. Because as jimmer said the engine is so far back. It meant the front bumper could stay on etc. just gotta be uber careful of the wing, but then you would have to watch front going in from there anyways. Serious tip though don't do it alone, having someone else tere to spot you makes things easier.

Ha nothing like using the family. Katie bolted up my clutch master her girly hands were much better suited than my twisted sausages.

Anyone with 11j rears?
Once you start getting to these sizes, you need to ensure you have sufficient clearance for the hicas arm and lower wishbone. Using 19s can help clear the hicas, and aftermarket arms allow more room. Obviously the arch itself is worth attention, you need to make sure it doesn't make contact at any point. Pretty sure 11.5 or 12" is the MAX MAX without p Popping the arch out. Are you going to run proper rubber? Or a silly stretch?

This is why I go to Powerzed
the lovely thing about not having fb though is all the stuff you don't get involved in that you don't want to be involved in...... Don't you just love the such and such said on fb, well I get to reply no, I haven't a clue about any of it, and more importantly mean it lol.

The annoying thing about not having fb is I miss stuff like this.

when your on here, what should you be doing?
Just like Gary, the forum is my fag break. My job also involves lots of waiting, waiting for appointments, keys water perameters to settle lots of waiting. I also surf the internet while fishing, ATM that's on average 2/3 times a week! I'm not looking for little nibbles, I'm waiting for the rod to rip out my hands. So I'm not going to miss it not giving it 110% of my attention.

500bhp for how much? Is a Zed really that much of a bargain?
Forgot that very sore bill. Getting the work done by a zed specialist will cut labour significantly, who wants to pay some monkey to learn on your car. Which is what 99% of garages including those "jap specialists" will be doing. Places that spend all days working on rbs don't necessarily know a damn thing about a vg.

fitting engine
I prefer it in two parts, it can be a pig getting the box on. Just make sure the clutch is aligned correctly. It's personal choice mate.
