  1. That's not too bad bud. Think Andy Ish has a contact for cheap part worns. Might be worth asking him.
  2. Hope it went well Craig.
  3. I really like it. Not how i'd have my car, but I think it looks great.
  4. Rude, ignorant ill mannered people. We can all afford manners. People who don't accept responsibility for their actions. Drivers who don't indicate. Drivers who are glued to their satnav and forget they are on a public highway.
  5. I like it Andy. But reckon Pabs is on the money!! Shall I try sorting a localish mini meet? Need to see it in the flesh.
  6. Nice one Jeff, seems to be a lot of timing retardation and incorrect Tps settings. Any particular reason for this? What effect would these have on running and are they an easy fix?
  7. Welcome dude. I like that a lot.
  8. Sounds like a plan. I went Nettlebed way but know Stonor. Did a big refurb job on the barn at The Crown @Pishill just up the road.
  9. Welcome bud, I took mine out today through Henley, over to Wallingford then on to Pangbourne and back to Twyford. Must've been somewhere near where you are surely? We should organise a meat with Andy, Pabs, Ryan, Craig, IanL etc.
  10. Top man Jeff. That really is club spirit. Hats off to you :cool2:
  11. I want an M3 lol
  12. Glad you're sorted Craig, and massive kudos to Terry. Top man indeed :cool2:
  13. Sounds like a Funky project. Good luck with it bud.
  14. I'm 35, when we were still too young to drink there was a strong cider called TNT, it came in a bottle shaped/wrapped as a stick of dynamite. It had the desired effect lol. We used to Snakebite it with Gold Label. WTF!!! The thought of it even now makes me feel queasy.
  15. I'm going to put my mankini on and drink warm beer in my Slicky and pretend i'm there. Just need a cardboard cut out of the beanster. Wish I was there. Today actually went okay but a bit late to go now.
  16. Seem to recall you being pretty busy this time last year Stella lol. Enjoy the peace and quiet mate.
  17. Put so much time effort and money (like pretty much all of us) into my Zed and got it looking/driving sweet. Really wanted to show it off at JAE this year, otherwise what's the point?? Only us loonies 'get' why we do it after all!! Life has got in the way this year sadly so i'll just have to look forward to the pics and banter threads. To all of you that are there or will be heading there I hope you have a fantastic time and revel in meeting new and old friends alike. Talk zeds and mankinis 'til the sun comes up :rockon: Take as many pics as you like, us non attendees are counting on you :thumbup1: Daffy.
  18. Try these guys, not sure whereabouts in London you are but Maidenhead isn't too far. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=200266
  19. Dan has done a fantastic job on the bumper Andy, loving your idea for the lip/ducts and gloss black. Also that exhaust looks the *****cks. Nice one bud. Enjoy jae.
  20. An interesting read this thread. And highly impressive times Bob. Nice one.
  21. I've got a van!! But thanks for the info. I need beer so bad right now bud. I am trying to finish up a few jobs first though. Stressed isn't the word.
  22. Lost my van keys last Friday, still not got a key that works. Codes from fiat don't work ffs. I've got to get the immobiliser byPassed and can't get this done until Monday at the earliest. Apart from the cost it's put me 5 days behind with work. So pissed off it's unreal. I can't get materials and tools to jobs in a slicky. Nightmare!!
  23. Doesn't matter now. The ongoing saga with my van keys has just seen to that.I won't be making it this year.
  24. As above, if work goes according to plan I should still be able to make JAE. Haven't got a tent though!! Cheerz
