I think Stellaz raised a very valid point. Pretty much seems that to benefit from the funds you need to attend JAE. This obviosly is aside from the PM and selling option, of being subscribed. Small quarterly comps with prize values of £25 or so might get some interest. Best photo, nicest update/upgrade etc. Personally I don't have a problem with the cost to subscribe or the amount of money in the bank. I feel this is a good thread though as it is interesting to see how the membership as a whole would like to see the club improve/change for the better of everyone. And in particular awareness of the one thing we are all here for. The legendary Nissan 300zx/Fairlady.

Perhaps with your renewed interest we could have the 2nd Monthly pup meet, 6 Months after the 1st? :smartass: As for the dyno day, i'd be interested in coming along. I was of the understanding that a mapping sesion will take a considerable amount of time compared to a power run though? Posts 1 and 2 pretty much sum it up. A well worded and thoughtfull post encouraging discussion on possible site improvements with the offer of technical assistance from the owner of possibly the nicest Zed in the country. Met with the inciteful response from a "super" moderator. Madmax was trying to move the site forward from what I can gather. Sometimes embracing change is a good thing. As ever, just my opinion.

Always 'piss' the first coat down. Otherwise it just sits on the plaster. Exactly right with the cove adhesive mate, sucks it dry and will always crack. Missus must be pleased it's nearly done, they get interested when the painting starts lol.

10% is about right Stellaz. If you are watering down b&q value then about 1% lol Alternatively get yourself some Dulux Fastmatt, it's great for new plaster. The idea is to get the plaster to soak the paint up, rather than form a skin.
