  1. To find metal filings in the plenum from a none running motor is hard to believe thinking the turbo housing as the culprit mate..you would of heard audible evidence 1st imho:no: Without trawling back through your posts have you had any parts of the intake powder coated? as the filings might be blasting grit still hanging around if it has not been through a hot parts washer prior to the oven. Who built the motor this present time?
  2. Oops i retract my 1st post Gary
  3. Amazing the intercooler is intact and the bumper looks fine too from that single pic...

  11. Very sad sight Gary..where was this pic taken mate?
  12. Very interesting Thread by Jeff and just as interesting replies too..This club has seen many transitions good and bad along the years and i have been around to see most, the club currently is very well put together and run by true enthusiasts of the car and its this that keeps me logging in most nights for a stroll through the posts and threads that just about seem to keep the club alive. I must admit i think it is a massive shame that the new direction that the club steered seemed to cater for a biased thinking that "modified" and rough looking Zeds could not eat at the same table as the more OEM garage queen cars and maybe this has put a lot of people off buying and trying to preserve basket cases to present here that seem to litter towns up and down the country.I know of 2 at this present time and keep threatening my wife with another project or two which brings me closer to no dinners after work:D..I honestly cant offer any magic medicine for members lack of posting including mine but i will still be logging in every day in the hope that one day my fire may be relit and i can start a new "parts wanted" thread.
  13. RIP Who has not sung this song after a few drinks in the past.
  14.:lol: Funny but sad at the same time. I have 2 Italian lads currently working for me and they both cant believe the antics they see on a twice daily commute getting to and from the work sites on our roads and made more Ironic by reports from these 2 Italians given there homeland so called driving reputation:D
  15. Yea when i tour on my bikes i get nothing but humanity and friendship, that goes for most if not all the European countrys and its only from my house to Dover that i face simple minded politcal views and aggresive territorial habits:crying::D ....Roll on some kind of normality back in this country.
  16. Wow that's just the thing i am dreading as end of this month i will be driving to Milan through Germany. Told the wife to get a EU looking GB sticker so i don't have to repaint the van when i get back:lol:
  17. I do frown at many of your posts Simon as i have for many years and i am sure you of mine too but Politically you are spot on my friend:thumbup1::thumbup1:
  18. All this political Brexit stupidity has thrown a small spanner in the works for my planned retirement second home in Sweden in less than 18 months time:censored:...At this present time i do feel ashamed and embarrassed to be British following the exploits of the last few weeks:blushing:
  19. A lot more sad to hear it run Richard:no: https://youtu.be/HG06etzzpXw
