Transmission banjo bolt
well your options are kinda limited...just check to make sure the oil passage does not go into a valve body and instead of "forcing" a bigger bolt ide go for a helicoil or new thread insert making sure you plug the hole before you start with something you could retrieve with a pick and keep vacuming the metal debri out as you go...goodluck

Transmission banjo bolt
would,nt try the above bud, where does the metal debri go your forcing into the hole...depending how bad you tore the thread then ide try plenty of plumbers PTF sealing tape around the bolt as it might grip and seal..then only option would be to pull the box

always a good idea to lightly rub the face on some sanding paper on a perfectly flat surface...gives the mating surface some "grab" for the jointing compound too

Richard ime with you 110% on this one..i hate with a passion this high tech century we are in. I hate tv,s that are wide and slim,i hate phones that are measured in thermo-nucular mega bits of bits and i hate f$kin washing mashines that only use a spiders piss for water on its cycle.Throw the f$kin thing on ebay and join me in a life of cast iron and rivits held together by the best rope money can buy.:mad2:

Dodgy CAS?
Check this out from Jeff Rob....he goes on to say if the rear bearings knacked it can effect signal drifting,as your pinching down the middle bolt it might be lifting the bearing in its housing . http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?126423-Inside-Out-quot-CAS-UNIT-quot
