  1. Not for me, quality of is awful, looks like a paint job done with rattle cans by a rank amateur. A cars body work should have a deep gloss and reflect like a mirror.
  2. It'll just be a serial number, sometimes the first digit or two signify different revisions of the model.
  3. My fan is loud as hell, it's embarassing tbh, think the clutch is knackered. Fan on my BMW is very weak in comparison.
  4. System is very simple to use, set the temp to what you would like in the cabin, press auto, never touch it again. If it isn't cold in hot weather then there is a problem with the AC, if Jeff knows about the R12 gas then probably best not to mess around and just take it to him.
  5. Common practice for Japanese made split rims to have the barrels welded together.
  6. No, it will be far too lean, if it even runs at all.
  7. GT4 celicas are shit slow though.
  8. Could be a tonne of things but mine was losing power big time after 3500 or so at full load, that was a failing PTU.
  9. Subaru use 5x100 pcd anyway don't they, so they won't fit at all unless you get conversion spacers.
  10. Lardy and crap around bends, that actually describes my zed perfectly :(
  11. you making 89 spoilers again now then? I want one, definitely.
  12. the pipes are ridiculous, but 995? Are they really worth that little now?
  13. must be a postcode thing, did FJ not give a reason why they wouldn't quote? Flux just insured a mate on a fully modified 328i for 1k, thats 25yo with only 1 year driving experience and in a bad area. There must be something wrong here.
  14. So you'll be sweating your tits off in the summer and constantly battling misty windows in the winter, nice ;)
  15. rusty as heck, this is exactly why you shouldn't drive a car you care about on roads that are dosed with salt.
  16. Just turn the AC off, then the engine doesn't have to drive the compressor. I don't understand at all why people remove the AC from a grand tourer like we have.
  17. Sounds right to me, what's up with that?
  18. I always have OD off around town, drives like a sloth with OD on. OD only on for cruising. Power is useful as it keeps the revs up high after you lift off the throttle. Hold sometimes nice for motorway if you don't want any kickdown.
  19. anywhere on the board really, they are the cylindrical things, usually green or black. Look for ones like on the right in this picture. http://www.crovean.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/bad-caps.jpg
  20. It's an autobox fault code. http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/autodiag/autodiag.html 16 flashes isn't 10 though, maybe somebody else can advise further.
  21. Spend that bit extra and go for the HID4U kit imo, ebay ones are cheap and you get what you pay for.
  22. yeah option 1 is easy, just take the ground from one of the headlight connectors and ground it to the body. Use a decent size wire and inline fuse though as it pulls a fair bit of current through it. As said, no good for flashing your lights in the daytime when your lights are off, tbh though I only ever flash at night when they can't see me wave so it doesn't make any difference to me.
