  5. indeed. So does this mean your post count increase will speed up further now?
  6. should have gone to specsavers! :D The colour match is terrible :D Looks good though, any more colour though and you might think you walked into a McDonalds outlet when yuou open the hood
  7. nice 1 MAC. I remember when I first had mine activated, it seems amazing at first, after a while you get used to the speed and anything slower is painful to use. I had to use 56k the other day when my ADSL went out, and it was so slow I thought f**k it and went out to polish the zed :p
  8. correct, but the modem will have a filter built in. The filters you have probably have a regular BT socket for the phone but a small RJ11 socket for the DSL, the modem is supplied with a regular Bt plug. Of course your milleage may vary but this is the case for all ADSL equipment ive seen in the UK.
  9. do you have the appropriate microfilters installed? You should have a filter on every phone plugged in, but NOT for the modem. If the filters are set up incorrectly then it could cause it to fail to connect.
  10. I was going to say this but though fook it dont want to start up another manual vs. auto flame war. But NigelBoyd, id love to be enlightened on how you think your manual is always in the right gear, with no driver involvement??????
  11. stock crank and valves apparently, everything else was changed though :D
  12. I couldnt tell you mate, wait for MAC to come along, he has blitz BOVs and im sure he'll point you in the right direction.
  13. sounds like the battery could be the problem. But also the idle is too high, idle should be about 700rpm at working temperature. Maybe your base idle is set too high, which is causing the high idle, and the load from the alternator is causing the slowdown of the engine, but if it drops down to 700rpm the ECU doesnt see it as a problem so wont do anything to counter the effect. Im probably talking *****cks though ;)
  14. the short sections of silicone tube to fix the hardpipes to the other hardpipes, and the small tube to attach the vacuum lines.
  15. you given the injector and coilpack connector a REALLY good clean out? This happened to me and it took ,e ages to work out the problem. Id done everything and in the end was gonna have a compression test done to check the valves were ok, but gave the injector harness one last scrubout and it fixed it. I think it was caused because there was a fuel leak in the fuel line directly above the injector plug and fuel had dripped into it and done some serious corrosion. When I first took the plug off it was really jammed up with green shite. So before you go buying things make sure all the connections in the bay are super clean...
  16. dunno whats so great about it, would prefer a 99 spec tbh
  17. Your soul is worth £3392. For your peace of mind, 96% of people have a purer soul than you. :( :D
  18. heater aint too bad at all, it does take a while before it starts blowing though, but I guess thats cos the system figures blowing cold air wont do anything to increase cabin temp, so waits till the vent air is hot before blowing.
  19. im having problems tonight also.
