  3. the kickdown switch is only about 3/4 way down the pedal travel though. You said yourself you disconnected the kickdown switch but it still kicked down, it detects full throttle usage from the TPS signal.
  4. they are all awful tbh (well apart from the real one of course, but even that didnt look all that jaw dropping in the drawing)
  5. iirc in hold mode it will still kick down if you floor it, but it wont kick down under normal driving at all (well, not full bore anyway ;)).
  6. they are quality mate, awesome :D
  7. 60k service about 300 quid, turbo swap at least 1000.
  8. NO. ALL UK zeds are 2+2 twin turbo's Jap imports come in 2 seater SWB and 2+2's both with a choice of N/A or twin turbo All have a choice of manual or automatic transmission.
  9. there was only the red key with ours and it works all the locks..
  10. bear in mind if its a UK it will probably have a fair bit of rot, you have only another 12k miles till its second 60k service, and if they are the origonal turbos they are probably on their last legs.
  11. dont use green pipe though ffs, ppl take the piss out of you ;)

whys the front so much higher than the back, got no engine in or something ;)
  13. Right click, save as Z with a chevy in.... ok so its not a 300, but its sure as hell got some serious power :D
  14. was wondering where he had dissapeared to just earlier
  15. yeah it has, looks good.
  16. it sure does Rich, in fact not only does it rev to the redline, it revs right into the redline till the limiter then shifts up so fast you can hardly believe it. Oh, and in the non turbo 4th gear will take it to 126mph, so shifting down to 4th at 100 should give you a nice boost in power.

    LOL
  18. that bumper is the only one to buy, love it. But the centre panel is waaaaaaaaaaay misaligned and it also looks like a colour mismatch.
  19. 70mph should be about 26/2700rpm from what i remember with an auto. Strange, 70 in second is on the rev limit, in 3rd i wouldnt have thought it would be as high as 5000, maybe 4000. Look on http://www.twinturbo.net and find the auto transmission diagnostic and run it, see if you get any error codes.
  20. good pics pete. Matty ur car is looking fantastic in that pic, looks like you been cleaning, nice work :)
  21. that SWB is Rich's nice pics so far :D
  22. probably caused by a jammed piston, which is in turn probably caused by a worn dust seal.
  23. redline it in every gear :D Afterall thats what happens in an auto when you floor the throttle, and nissan programmed it like that, and they wouldnt program the box so it blows up the engine would they ;)
