ffs who cares! He didnt ask whether manual was better than auto and this post is turning into crap
  12. id have thought it would be a better investment buying a CO2 fogger kit. This will get the IC;s REALLY cold. But there is the downside that you will need to get the tank refilled and using it in wet weather could result in the IC cracking.
  13. Big mac meal NO CHEESE (has been mentioned before, its revolting) with a coke for me

there was a NA zed in the US that had 350k on the clock with the origonal engine. Obviously the turbo engine has a much shorter lifespan but there are some on here with the best part of 200k on the clock and are only just starting to have problems.
  16. vent to atmosphere dump valves result in massive overfuelling on zed due to them using a MAS rather than a MAP so you get flames occasionally with a combo of straight through decatted exhaust and BOV's. edit - while we're on this topic dont go on the search for flaming if you still have cats! The cat element runs REALLY hot and if unburnt fuel gets into them it will ignite and melt the cat, resulting in this kind of thing which will block the exhaust.

cant see it being caused by overboosting. Zeds do not have a fuel cut like many other turbo engines, so the boost will just keep increasing till the engine goes bang.
  21. I would have thought all the big jap tuners would have made these??
  22. nice pads :D this reminds me ive still got to fit the rear pads that are sitting in the boot.
