  1. I'm on an Admiral multicar policy, which works out pretty good for me £412 for the z and the daily, a 530d. Believe it or not the daily costs more than the z. Well worth asking them for a quote.
  2. Don't ask me I'm an old fart and just make do with signing in every time :)
  3. Eeeek.... stripped it down that sounds serious, wish I could get across but i need to get myself sorted out with gear (and fitness) for my travels
  4. Last 2 weeks in May are out for me I'm afraid, i'll be somewhere along a 200 mile trek across the Scottish highlands. Andy sorry would assist with the belts but I'm gonna be tied up for the month
  5. lol now after reading all that I wanna go to Thailand too.......for the food & fishing you understand!
  6. Or "power bar" :) so many names for the same peice of kit
  7. The west coast run I was refering to was down round about the Ayrshire coast. We have had runs further north (through Glan Coe and back down by Oban) and amased four cars on two occassions and only me on another :). Then had a three day run up around the north west as far as Ullapool with two of us. Five cars out an a run will be pretty good going, you tend to find that more will turn up for a static meeting.
  8. When I was the REO we were always going to do a west coast run, but every time I tried to arrange it you guys went into hiding :). I'm still up for a run down that way but it will have to be next month I aint taxing the Z until all that nasty salt has been washed from the roads.
  9. I used one of there kits about 4 years ago, the quality was pretty good back then. Certainly would not hesitate to use them again.
  10. I was almost tempted to do as jimmer suggests and fit collars, but was worried that would cause ride harshness and increase road noise. As I was taking the subframe anyway out to paint it was a no brainer to replace the bushes. I went for the Driftworks bushes for two reasons. 1. I then did not have to worry too much about trying to save part of the old bush housing. 2. They were cheaper and I'm a tight git :) If I were to do it again, now knowing whats involved I would probably go with the Energy Suspension bushes. They are designed to fit the Z properly, the Driftworks bushes do the job but the fitting kit that comes with them just han't been thought out.

  23. And if I wasn't listening to some new age rock or scooting about on my 125 I'd be down at the nightclub trying to pull to something like this [video=youtube;p8-pP4VboBk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8-pP4VboBk
