Decat direct bolt on?
Should be straight bolt on as long as you get the elbows with it as in the picture, no good without them. And I'm pretty sure 2fast2cool on ebay are supplying Japspeed ones, they just take the chance and start 99p auctions with them...and then end auction early if it doesn't reach the price they want.

You get them from cash converters and the likes. 30,000 of them were taken out last year in the UK.

From the show i watched they said its different to HPI, HPI is against the individual and they don't have the right to take the car but if its a log book loan then it stays with the vehicle not the person. The only course of action the victim had was to sue the seller...and as stated above they tend to say they can't afford to pay back and offer a small monthly payment that would take 3-4 years to pay it back. A couple of times the rang the door bell and just asked for the keys, the owners weren't in and their children handed the keys over making the job even easier! Here's the second episode http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-repo-man/4od#3515910 Having done an HPI check before hand may give you additional rights, I'm sure the HPI check means that the company verifying has some liability now, they may eed to give you compensation so I'd be pursuing that avenue immediately. Then I'd be paying the seller a visit!

So sorry to hear that mate. There is a show on TV just now called Rep Man about this, 9/10 of the cases I saw on it were due to log book loans from previous owners, seems folk just take out loans right before selling on. The bad news is one of the guys on it went through the courts and won but the previous owner then just said they couldn't afford to repay so the court let the previous owner offer to pay it back at £20 per month!!!! Sickening.

HELP - sparks please advise on new bathroom light fitting
Cheers guys, but which earth should I be joining to the new light fitting? There wasn't one connected to the rose fitting, just the three joining together. The wires that are connected are just twisted together with tape wrapped round. The light is powered from a switch that has two switches, one for this ceiling light and one for a wall light.

HELP - sparks please advise on new bathroom light fitting
Any sparks out there show me what to do with this muddle of wires? I've tried to show in the attached image how the old rose fitting is wired in the loop. Don't know what I was expecting to see but the 4th wire (yellow) from the first cable joining the red one threw me. Can someone guide me from here please?

Organising anything soon?
I'm up for a meet but need to get my zed running right, still running like a dog and I gave up towards the end of last year so its just been sitting getting dirty since then. Plan was to get funds together to send it down to Jeff to get sorted and setup for summer.

1984 Nissan 300 ZX Dip & Side Lights Not Working ?
That's for z32, he's got a z31 mate. I did the headlight mod to stop the headlights opping up unless the manual button is pushed, its possible this has been done wrongly on your. If you check the wiring under the steering you might find some connections hanging loose.

Seatbelts / Door card
If you wanted to tidy it up then you would need to have the seatbelt off the car and thread it through before closing the gap for sliding seatbelt in and out of doorcard. Would just mean cutting seam in future if seatbelts ever needed replaced but no biggie.

caliper repair kit quality
I had that kit, not the best of quality at all and I even emailed them pics of theirs compared to originals when I stripped calipers and they said they would look into it. I ended up using some of the kit and just cleaning up some of the original parts to rebuild the calipers in the end.

Does this sound like the bearings are shot? Ignore the dog squeeking its toy at the start, the noise starts after the 9 second mark and only just started yesterday.
