  1. Zymol starter kit is about £100, and its about £250 for the full kit. http://www.zymol.co.uk The stuff lasts ages though.
  2. Sorry, dont know the wheels, but gimme a shout if your selling your current ones Greg :D
  3. Skyline GTS-T is a nice enough car, but IMO it is inferior to the 300zx in many ways. I would only recomend it over the 300zx if you needed a bigger rear seat and boot. Its more of a 2-door saloon than a sports coupe..and the interior is like that of a Nissan Primera. The GTR makes up for that with its Trick 4WD system, better exterior and 2.6 Twin turbo. btw - I was originally set on getting a Skyline GTST......but I bought a 300zx instead, and could'nt be happier with the decision
  4. Christ man, close call. Glad your all ok. its one of those things you dont really think expect to happen, but it does.
  5. Who, what, when, where ? ;)

Front bumper is the same one Jaz has on his, available from Zcentre, before they modified it for smaller opening (not on website) ? That gives me some ideas for my car  ...dammit...missus is gonna kill me
  7. http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/consult_if.htm Pricing seems very reasonable, although looks like they are out of stock on the cable interface at moment.
  8. £36.75 in ALDI....what did u do, buy everything in stock ?
  9. If your car is due its Cambelt change, then you really need the full 60k service done, as there are many other parts that will need replacing at the same time unfortunatly, which would cost you around 450-600 if you use one of the Traders on the forum (ztech is not far from you).
  10. dont panic ;) I've done it. There was a "secret" clip holding the headrest, which when removed allowed me to unclip the black plastic, and remove the rest of the cover. ....and she sure is pretty ! :x:
  11. A "Carputer". Various options. Im in the process of building one for my Zed at moment. Pc with regulated 12v power supply, hooked up to a LCD Touchscreen VGA In-Dash pull-out screen. Good Carputer forum - http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/ Full spec : - Cubid 3688, Opus PSU - VIA EPIA MII-10000 - 40gb slimline, 256mb, DVD, GPS receiver, Gprs & wlan Pcmcia - DWW-7VGA 7" In-dash Touchscreen - 4 Channel Amp - WinXP, - MediaCar, Infomap Navigator 4
  12. Im halfway thru replacing the tweed drivers seat cover , with a replacement cover courtesy of Daves_new_zx (thanks Dave  ). Managed to get it 90% of, after fighting with a million of those little metal rings, but Im stuck at the headrest. I cant find how to remove the headrest, or its mounts, which seems to be the only thing holding the cover on now. Any advice, tips or perhaps a scan of a zcentre leather kit instruction sheet or something ? Removed the seat and took it in house to work on (loads of legroom in the zed now  ). Missus was well impressed by the mess Im making in the study :nono: Im not so impressed with sore bleeding hands though  Cheers, David
  13. Nice, would'nt normally go for something like that, but actually really like it. Are there any more pictures of it from diff angles ?
  14. The auto is quicker 0-100mph than the manual. £3k is low, but Zed prices are at rock bottom at the moment. Check out the Events and Meets sections for any Meets near you, Im sure somebody can offer you a test run.

  16. Top Job, thanks bud. Another item to add to the xmas pressie lists :D
  17. 300zx Cartoon picture - Anyone know where to get them from ? (for framing and putting on wall) Like these, but for Zed : I've seen them somewhere (possibly an avatar or as image on a website) Tried http://www.cartooncars.com but they only have Skyline and GtiR, no Zed. anyone ?
  18. I'd go for a Xarnac/Gain TFT screen but I not sure about Uk suppliers. http://www.digitalww.com is a popular US based company offerening quality VGA Screens for Car Installatios.
  19. Hi Mustalintu, Sorry Im unable to help, being fairly new to them myself, other than to agree that performance is down on what you should be receiving (more like 5.5-6.0 secs and 270km/h - and higher with a typical over-reading speedometer). Its still quite early here, Im sure somebody will be able to offer some expert advise, although it can be hard to diagnose on a forum without symptons. Regards, David
  20. Nice colour...and um..Nice clear indicators. ;)
  21. Anything to do with Zeds and Beer :duffer: - and I'll be there :D
  22. Quite moved to read this Dave, really feel for you and your family. We have experienced a Meningitis scare in the family previously, when my little brother was suspected. Thankfully, after a few days in hospital and injections for everyone who had been in contact, it turned out be ok, but I remember the shock and worry we were all in at the time. We have a 4 year old daughter now, and Meningitis is one of those illness's which really puts the frighteners on you. Thank you for the advice website link.

  24. I could be interested in the Conzult
  25. I need a car alarm (got Cat 2 Immobiliser already), mainly just so I have remote central locking, and I can make beepy noises in supermarket car parks ;) tbh Im not too bothered about how effective the alarm is against theft, becuase the car is never really left anywhere its going get stolen, except my house and there are various other reasons why it would'nt get stolen there. There are lots of cheap ones (under £100) on ebay, with various fancy features including Pagers, LCD displays, remote start and the like...but what about fitting ? Are they pigs to fit yourself, and would I need to take it to an Alarm specialist anyway for fitting ? How much would fitting cost ? Would they have any problems with fitting an Alarm they do not sell themselves ?
