  2. water in air filter would, and would be most likely candidate. Especially if runnign aftermarket induction kit, as it lacks the protection of the Air filter housing..are you Hand washing, Jet washing or using a Car wash ?

if you really dont like us, then just say so :p
  4. ...well, now that u mention it ;)
  5. Thanks all, yep it was hiding from me under the black box. cheer :D Plumbed in the new gauge too, and all seems fine. yep, I got it from Greg :D...my first bit of underbonnet bling
  6. Also check the actual thin heater wires/lines that run all across the Rear Window for broken lines. They can get broken when cleaning inside of rear window.
  7. welcome. The 300zx TT and NA are in the same Insurance Group, so I dont think you will find any savings in Insurance...except perhaps at specialist insurance companies who are willing to discount the premium for the NA.
  8. Fitting aftermarket boost gauge today, and I seem to have unplugged a Vacumm pipe, and I cant find where its supposed to be plugged into. I think its the pipe for the Stock boost gauge, as that now sits at Zero with engine running. Its highlighted in pics below. It had a 3" long S-bend black pipe, which I have removed in the pictures, as it was broke at the end. p.s the red pipe (where this bit of pipe is missing), is that suitable for plugging in the T-piece for new boost guage ? David
  9. Congratulations Marcus. All the best to the wife and kids. :duffer: :duffer:
  10. ok, here we go :
  11. Stay the same, seem about right to me. Certainly dont want to get more leniant, it will only encourage us
  12. In japanese, but pictures are helpfull. Cleaning, without removal : http://www14.synapse.ne.jp/falcon/club/diy/clean.htm
  13. What headlight bulbs you running, sounds like they gave a massive Power increase  I dont know about the Zed specifically, but something like that can be the sign of faulty diodes within the clocks....or I guess it could indicate a dodgy earth somewhere.
  14. They are Nissan production.
  15. Yep, UK was LWB TT only.
  16. xcellent thanks :) Ordered. Free shipping too :) Let there be light
  17. http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk/product.asp?numRecordPosition=1&P_ID=132&strPageHistory=cat&strKeywords=&SearchFor=&PT_ID=87 Richard, are these the Osrams you mentioned ? They are the only ones I could find in H3 fitment on thats site.

Mine was scraping on speedhumps (stock setup). Looking underneath discovered the underside was bit of a mess, and part of it was hanging down. Cut it off, and so far no more scraping.
  19. I like that. Black Zed's come with it already done ;)
  20. TT - (LWB & SWB) NA - (LWB & SWB & Convertable) Slicktop - SWB TT and NA. Pretty sure thats correct, unless there was a LWB Slicktop ?
  21. Anyone know the above ? I seen it written on here somewhere, but cant find it in a search now. (want to check my speedo accuracy with it)
  22. Congrats on the purchase Sounds like its running Jap Rubber. I still have Japanese spec 225 wide Yokohama Grand Prix tyres on the back of my TT, and wet or dry I cant floor it in a straight line until im in 3nd gear. 1st and 2nd gear is just frightening(or fun, depending on your perspective;)). Headlights - Yep, awful. Beam pattern seems fine, but they are just too dull. There is plenty of posts on here about improving...or check out the Group buy for HID's in the Traders forum... £190 delivered, Bargain.
