  1. lol :( The first SW meet I attended, consisted of 3 Zed owners, but only 1 zed.
  2. Would I have one - No, Boyracer image and front wheel drive.
  3. There used to be a Forum on the Shell website - called ask the experts. The "experts" on there, said that shell optimax is rated at 98.3 - 98.6 ron....but they;ve removed the forum now, can only find references to it on google's cache.
  4. I was sure the Optimax pumps read 98 ron on them....will check later, need to fill up. I read somewhere that its officially 98.6 ron.
  5. Optimax is a 98 minimum rating, gauranteed not to fall below 98ron from the pump (fuel octane level drops over time)
  6. Smithy sells them for about £25 http://www.smithys-place.co.uk
  7. Happy birthday guys :duffer: :duffer:

  9. Its 4 years. http://www.dvla.gov.uk/drivers/endorsem.htm#1.%20Endorsement%20Guide
  10. Bought this a few months back, its basically a reprint of all the best Nissan articles banzai has previously featured. Cost was £7.99 and realised after I already had the old copies with each zed feature in :(
  11. I believe about almost all Zed's have Electric drivers seat (I thought it was standard, and not heard on one without), but electric passenger seat was not standard till Phase 2 (1993)
  12. Cost is usually £1000-£1500 depending on where you source the parts, and if your undertaking all the labour yourself. There is a brief guide here : http://www.z1motorsports.com/PDFs/Autoto5spconversion.pdf and list of parts required : Manual Gearbox Driveshaft Flywheel (all the bolts) Pressure Plate Clutch Disk Pedals (CLutch and Break) Clutch Master Cylinder Clutch Slave Cylinder Clutch Booster Clutch Vacuum Hoses Check Valve Vacuum Tanks (2 of them) Clutch Release bearing Shifter + Shifter Bushing Holder Bracket Lower Dust Boot Upper Dust Boot Manaul Shift Boot Shift Knob Occasionaly AndyZ or MJP sell the whole kit required for around the £700 mark, may worth contacting them (check traders section)
  13. Although saying that, just found this on Barlcays website : 1. How long does it take for a cheque to clear? A cheque will take between five and six days to clear depending on where it was paid in. You can draw money against it a day earlier than the clearance date at your home branch. If you need the cheque to clear faster, use our Express Cheque Service. Your cheque will usually clear the following day as cheques are posted directly to the drawee's bank. You must pay your cheque into a Barclays branch and ask for the service at the same time. This service costs £15 (free for Platinum Banking customers). You can also withdraw money instantly if the cheque is paid in at a Barclays branch and you use your current account's Instant Access feature (subject to status and limit). The cheque will still go through the normal clearing cycle.
  14. Never heard of that. There has been a lot of complaints about Bank cheque clearence time (banks make £25million a year in interest during the transfer time), and are being forced to improve the performance, but not until 2007.
  15. Definatly an NA, see the front bumper
  16. yes and yes (mounting points are all there for fitment). All UK spec and Phase 2 onward zed's.
  17. They are fine for the front. (too narrow for the rear)
  18. Off the line the Mr2 turbo just has it, but mid-range and top end the zed kills it.
  19. ouch, yep you dont want to buy the J-spec. Its exactly same as UK spec (in terms of fitment), but the j-spec has the horrible brown tint, and the Uk spec has the much nicer blue tint.
  20. Gutted I could'nt make this today, one of the kids not well :(:( Hope you all had a good time, and want to see some pics !! :)
  21. £200 from Autoglass (Uk spec blue tinted screen)
  22. Are you insuring it as main car ? I insured mine as 2nd car on limited mileage policy (with wifes car as main car), and pay £650 to Admiral. (26 yrs old, 4yrs Protected NCB, Import TT)
  23. Looks great. Did you use the Solvent or non-solvent versin of evo-stick. (non-solvent = White and thin, solvent = Brown and thick). The non-solvent version was useless when I did mine, but the Solvent version fantastic !
  24. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4566962495     :slap:
