  1. Great idea...everytime I see the signs I fancy visiting it. anyone else up for it ?
  2. ahem..it was the Gloucester guys complainng about distances, everyone else is pretty cool with a good trek ;)
  3. Stunning Colour
  4. Perhaps Uk changed to Iron calipers earlier ? Nope, Iron calipers replaced the lighter aluminium ones becuase of disc warping problems.
  5. Early UK cars definately had Aluminium calipers too. After 92 you could only purchase Alloy calipers, so they may have been replaced becuase of warping problems or other damage.
  6. Wide arch conversion :)
  7. Your discs must be 26mm, not 25mm(dont exist) The "26mm Aluminum" calipers were used ONLY on 1989-1990 non-turbos. They used a 280mm x 26mm rotor. The "30mm Aluminum" calipers were used on 1989-1990 Twin-turbos and ALL 1991-1992.5 300ZX's (both turbo and non-turbo alike). They used a 280mm x 30mm rotor. The "30mm Iron" calipers were used on ALL 1992.5 onward 300ZX's (both turbo and non-turbo alike). They also used the 280mm x 30mm rotor.
  8. TT front discs are 280 x 30mm Most NA owners fit TT calipers to solve the hassle. They can be picked up very easily and cheapily. Will make it a lot easier in the future.
  9. I think Yami is the only forum member with a tailgate tub.
  10. Ah right, yeh 2.5", compared to the stock Blueflame 2.25" Wondered why it cost you more than the usual price. They offer 2 tailpipe options, the same as yours but with 2 tips, and the oval is the new option. The Blueflame 2 tip setup is the most popular 300zx exhaust. The 2-3k drone is actually to do with the removal of the H-pipe in the sytem, which in standard form helps to reduce the drone. Very few 300zx Aftemarket exhausts actually cause a motorway drone, even the 5" tip varieties.
  11. You wont get a lot of replies as there are only a couple of people with them fitted, and not a popular choice. It just replaced the windscreen, so will involve blending into tailgate and respray. They do tend to act like a pond when i it rains, the interior finish is a bit poor, and if fitting to a LWB then anyone over 3ft tall wont have any head room in the rear.
  12. Its from a Famous film that got banned, the video footage is real. Car sounds are usually always dubbed in Films.
  13. Depends which calipers you have. smithy does excellent portefield pads for 300zx and skyline calipers
  14. sorry, fly yeh. about 300@wheels (stock is about 230 I think)
  15. Induction, exhaust, chip 13/14psi will usually see around the 340-370hp figure.

  19. Yep its either poor connecion (corroded connectors), broken wiring or the PTU itself.
  20. Can't wait to see LOADS of pics ! was that 11 months just in bodyshop ?
  21. Jon how often do you find the fan cuts in, and how noisy is it ? Does it come with some sort of thermosat control, and you've set it to come on at a set temp ?
  22. On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a friend, a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at breakneck speed through the heart of Paris. The film was limited for technical reasons to 10 minutes; the course was from Porte Dauphine, through the Louvre, to the Basilica of Sacre Coeur. No streets were closed, for Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit. The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches. The footage reveals him running real red lights, nearly hitting real pedestrians, and driving the wrong way up real one-way streets. Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver, and the film went underground until a DVD release a few years ago. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2851488008488190547&q=lelouch
  23. Thats just greedy, Its like a Zed meet at your house everyday. :)
  24. Wiring Harness or Connector to the Power Transistor Unit (PTU) has failed. Try cleaning connectors on PTU and Coilpacks first.
  25. All these stage upgrade lists are always optimistic. Boost does'nt increase with exhausts and inductions kits like they do on some Turbo cars. US Zed's are 300bhp
