  4. Have your calipers overhauled/serviced before purchasing a bigger brake setup, or when you get these fitted. Its very common for the Calipers to have sticking pistons.

  8. like : http://www.az-zbum.com/cgi-bin/z32owner.pl and you can search it http://www.az-zbum.com/cgi-bin/z32registry.pl (Data stored by VIN registration database I think)
  9. The Mot stations quote will be far from realistic. Rare for Rear Hicas steering rack to have internal wear, usually common arm bushing wear. Either way both front and rear steering racks can be picked up for anything from £50-£75 each second hand in good condition...for example.
  10. 5.5secs is average, published 0-60 time. Car and Driver got a flat 5.0 secs from a SWB TT Manual. I have done a 5.3secs recorded by carputer on damp road with far too much wheelspin, will have a few more goes, I know I can easily get it under 5secs
  11. nice...although I think I would of preffered to find out she was on a lower boost and that I can go even higher :D lol It varies so much, but anything from 340-380 bhp at the flywheel, typically.
  12. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=70771 Carefull with the whoring, or we'll lose it again :(

Welcome. :D Would'nt the bigger, slower, wet weather car be better as the runabout, and the sports car as the Weekend car ;)
  16. ooh, when did this happen.......aint I got a big one!
  17. 4th gear syncro can be weak point on pre 1994 manual gearboxes, usually at higher mileages, and new oil is said to usually cure it.
  18. no need to worry about fuel pump, they are one of the best stock pumps available, and good for over 600hp.
  19. It sounds MAF related to me. Safety mode/boost will not cause the problems you have described.
  20. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=29629
  21. He no longer works for RAC
  22. Its been on and off ebay for a while now. If its really running 17psi without supporting mods (Bigger injectors at least) then I would'nt want to be the new owner.
  23. Looks real nice in your rides pics. What seats are those you have fitted ? Considering going the same route, for extra support and less weight. Any downsides to them (fitment, comfort..etc) ?
