  1. MMmm...HUD Give us a Review and plenty of pics when its fitted ! :D
  2. Autotrader, Ebay, Pistonheads.... although the best place is this forums Cars for sale section Safe - for there age, yes. Well built and a good size. Typical average MPG is low 20's , will drop in the low-mid teens if your heavy footed all the time, and can get as much as low 30's on a long motorway run.

me, me, me ! Taking the pink one Anna ? :D
  4. Most adverts will say wether its UK or Import. A few tale-tale clues are UK size number plate on back, fog lights built into rear bumper, washer jets on Front bumper. If its a SWB (2 seater) or a non-turbo then you can rule it out, as they were only available as Import.
  5. Welcome Dan. That looks like a UK Twin Turbo you got a quote for, the reason its cheaper than the Non-turbo is becuase all non-turbos are Imports and a lot of Insurance companies like to charge stupid pointless premiums as soon as the word import is mentioned. Running one on a budget could be an issue, they mught be cheap to buy now but they were not far of £40k cars when new and cost of ownership will reflect that. A Max budget of £2500 will mean your looking at the lower end of the market, and all to often somebody will buy a 300zx for £2000 and it will need another £2000 of work doing on it, sometimes others get lucky though. They have a habit of taking over your life and most of us would'nt be without one. :)
  6. Its a fiddly, uncomfortable (spend your time upside down in drivers footwell) and time consuming......a good 5-6 hours work for yourself or you would be looking at about £300-£400 for supply and Fit at specialist garage. Heater matrix is about £170'ish New, £80'ish 2nd hand.
  7. Hi Mark , eventually I will, when I have the rollcage in (not really keen on having harnesses bolted to floor) but need the belts fitted until that happens. Have heard of people attaching harnesses to rear strut bar....any thoughts?
  8. Dont know much about them...other than that engine and its potential ...VH45DE  They are ugly and they are all Auto's
  9. Why? - because Im fitting a series 3 suede Interior to replace the current Blue tweed interior, and you cant have belts on the doors with them. yeh, not to sure about just welding a nut no....the metal is not thick enough....maybe if I welded in a plate too......I will have to compare with a UK or Late jap Zed to see what should be there... I know Chris@getgreddy has done it...but well...ermm..yeh....
  10. You will need the Series 2 Climate control ECU/Amp for it as well.
  11. Can anyone who has moved there seatbelts from the doors to the B-Pillars (ie From Jap series 1 to UK or Jap series 2 onwards style) tell me what they did about the missing nut/thread for the top hole ? All the rest of the fitment holes and threads are in place but the top bolt hole in the B-pillar is missing the thread, its just a hole in the thin metal frame.
  12. Its becuase of the fuel tank location difference. Thats the easiest way to tell a SWB from a LWB in exterior pics.
  13. Thats the series 2 onwards climate control. It changed in late 1992
  14. Buying guide here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm
  15. nope, Skoda's are great cars since being part of the VAG group. Skoda = Cheap Volkswagon Audi = Posh/Expensive Volkswagon Seat = Stylish/Trendy Volkswagon Volkswagen = errmm..Normal Volkswagon
  16. I would say about 90%+ on this site and in UK are 2+2's ...easiest way to see from exterior pics is that if the Filler cap is in front of the Wheel arch then its a SWB and if its behind the wheel arch then its a 2+2
  17. I thought they all looked like that....... ...I must spend too much time at SWZ
  18.  Thats just crazy for a Golf
  19. Sorry Phil, I have everything from front of car, but not the boot panels......anything SWB specific I have had dyed to black!
  20.
  21. right now about 115 hp of raw Diesel power :(
  22. According to reviews the SL55 AMG does 0-100 in just under 10 secs .....That is very, very quick !. Stock TT does 0-100 in about 14 secs.....1 bar boost and your looking at less than 12 (I recoded a 11.8secs in my old TT Manual)....but not 10secs :(
  23. You'd look like a twat sitting in traffic with no windscreen and a helmet on LOL , but absolutely awesome track car.
