  1. Enjoy your day Lee :thumbup1:.
  2. Happy birthday .
  3. I have something like that in mine Rich, could be the exact same and seller as the advert looks familiar. Don't forget you'll get screwed for around 20 - 25% duty so please bear this in mind :2guns:.
  4. I got these for my birthday, used them once for tightening up my mikalor t clamps and they were fine :thumbup1:. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BERGEN-6pc-Double-Ratchet-Flexible-Ring-Spanner-Set-8-19mm-Flexi-Wrenches-B1895-/380651599966?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item58a09a785e
  5. Still on dial up here north of Watford.............page as only just loaded .
  6. 'Well i've never heard it called that before', nice euphemism Baz .
  7. You sure you've not misheard as I always thought they called you dick . I have 25mm spacers on my front equips and are flush, rears just bolt on. Lee wont be thanking you for this pic........all these zeds that get taken to me for rejuvenation, poor lads tearing his hair out !!
  8. Previously I had Continental 245's on my 17's at the rear, these gave me a quite attractive slight stretch which I liked and also they didn't rub at all. With me wanting more rubber down I went for the 255 Sessantas, they look pretty much the same as the 245's did as the top does angle in. IMO don't be swayed with the £60 saving and stick with the 265's :thumbup1:.
  9. Yeah......took ya long enough :tongue_smilie:. It all comes together at the end once that rubber seal is fitted, great work and your attention to detail can only be given the highest praise .
  10. Can't let that go without commenting. Love my Vredesteins on the rear, brand new Ultrac Sessanta's, they look superb, so aggressive looking and pleasing on the eye once they are dressed. If only they had my size for the fronts :(. They also look like there's a bit of stretch but there isn't, if you get me. Don't know what they're like for grip though !!!! Cars not moved a muscle since they were fit !!!!
  11. I like trucking and i like to truck .
  12. Stop posting..........i'm watching it 'live' on plus 1 .
  13. You've got remember these are 20 year old lenses and if you've cleaned them thoroughly and held them up to the light then there's very little you can do about it, as with everything some used lenses are better than others. Fyi, when i have cleaned them i just use hot soapy water with a brillo and usually do it at the same time as i bring the rubbers back to life. What colour you doing the metal rubber holders......got to be gloss black as it ?
  14. I will think about getting one but will need to see one close up, can they be polished ? And will they improve what i have..........which is nothing !!
  15. Happy birthday and by doing this post it pulls me level with you on the post count :thumbup1:.
  16. Get some trouser clips, don't be getting your flares caught in that chain, plus you'll need a playing card and a peg don't forget !!!!
  17. I have both cc pod and one without cc as spares. My car doesn't have cruise and had the blank which i didn't like, so I now have a UK pod fitted with cruise, rear fog switch with light indication and headlamp washer button. When i hit the 'rear fog switch' the front fogs come on, the symbol or logo is actually facing the wrong way. When i hit the cruise button it clicks of course and i do still get the cc indication light in my clocks and yes i think it is green (S4).
  18. Thanks again and i'll just like to clear up what i put above with regard to my 5 pin maf, when i look again i have four wires going into it so i expect this is what everybody has but i am still no wiser as to what the redundant pin is for at position A. Anyway here's a pic showing those 4 maf wires and what is the 'yellow' plug for that is usually taped up out of the way ?
  19. Might be ok for a while now :surrender: even thinking about buying more and prepping them ready as I have been lucky enough to source locally practically the identical diffuser as the stock red one.
  20. Happy birthday .
  21. Some cheeky birthday wishes above, but I thank you all . Got some goodies in the week, mainly red hoses that came with a full hard pipe kit and so I put together today, I have the plenum yet to do and I might go with a gunmetal colour, throttle bodies, breather pipe, rocker covers and water pipes are all in hand, but this on the pic below is where I am at today. Then got it up to full temp and moved it back and forth on the drive, sorned still you see. One more thing I have bought a spare maf which I guess is from a S1 or S2, the one I took off my S4 which as far as I know is the original one and as an extra pin at position A, where the one now fit only as the four middle pins, does anyone know why this is ? I have not as yet noticed any difference in running at idle but I have not been on the open road to test.
  22. Nice one Ian, seems Denty as turned your 32 around :thumbup1:.
