  1. Tomorrow I will get it fully warm and move the sensor to sit above the plenum and will update here - then we will see for certain :tt2:
  2. I have been messing with a digital in car thermometer but I think I have it reading the engine bay temp rather than the outside temp so I will be moving the sensor somewhere else. Anyway got back from a 30 mile drive and it read 31 celsius, so the answer Al is certainly in excess of 30 degrees, perhaps as high as 35
  3. http://glowhut.com/12-x-125-inch-el-paneltapebacklight-with-lead-wire-and-conn12125.html Looks like a new one is what you need, get red as you should not really have blue on the outside of your vehicle :cool3:
  4. You sure it wasn't you  Could of been a 'negative reality inversion' :tt2:
  5. I recorded off the tele on VHS Video and wrote in biro on it 'Harry Enfield and Chums' - I binned it only last week :crying: Not much help to you that
  6. Never ever heard those words before :tt2: Good luck with your search You will get what you pay for remember :cool3:
  7. I thought this one was ok when I saw it yesterday, SWB as well  A recent import so rot should not be a problem. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1993-NISSAN-300-ZX-SWB-MANUAL-T-BAR-BLACK-RARE-/290558539361?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item43a6a37661 Yours is a UK car so look out for rust
  8. One of the best jobs I have done on the car is this :balloon: Just don't put deep scratches into the leather when you strip but as a rule get it all off as the leather dye and then the polish is very forgiving. Several weeks on and my wheel is still superb :thumbup1: Post up pics of your work for all 2 see.
  9. First for me also but not a Turbo and no boot blind but that is being picky :cool3:
  10. A convoy is part of the fun, I cannot imagine anyone will be going down as late as 5pm say on the Friday so I could well be back on Daz with the Saturday with you as last year but it is a way off :cool3:
  11. It was four Daz last year but only 2 zeeez, mine and yours  Put me down again this year although it is a way off I might go down on the Friday evening to the hotel and so ready for an earlier start on the Saturday, cos last year it was well into Sat afternoon when I got there. If I was earlier I would of for sure won best Silver slicktop fitted with Work wheels and driven by Andy award
  12. That's an interesting link in the lead post as my car as that exact front tower bar as they call it and the option below it and a bit lower down I have that cooling panel :cool3: Love it where the indicators are called 'winkers', methinks we on this forum should adopt this term :thumbup1:
  13. We have the original Big Trak with trailer both boxed and in the loft :thumbup1:
  14. The secret is out then - who told you :detective: Over the years these cars have had things lost, items taken off, parts damaged or just worn out, it is a case for me and I am sure others to just put these back and all goes to make the car and it's history complete for your own piece of mind and is a nice touch for the buyer if you ever come to sell it on
  15. Nice is that......very nice :thumbup1: Bodywork looks lush
  16. Just bought one  Mine being a late '94 I don't think it ever came with an OEM Titanium key - discontinued
  17. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Nice one Graham^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  18. Nice work there, I did mine myself and did the stripes  There is a pic of my rear end in my rides if you care to view it :sneaky2:
  19. Sorry to hear your tale  this is what puts me off and the reason I have gone certainly 20 years of putting it off You mention 'they', where is it you are going? Finally, please update this thread with your further treatments, always good to hear :cool3:
  20. Happy Birthday Chris  Enjoy your day
  21. Having put £3k as a guess for each, for my wife and I in the lead post, it was a lot lot more, she needed more work and was not straight forward for her, mine alone was £3,800.00, just for a basic zapping  I can see the smallest of small print without my glasses now but distance I struggle, the surgeon told me though that after the procedure I would have near 20/20 vision. So we have put it on hold for the time being. Currently moving house so that is the priority at the moment, then we will look again
  22. I am doing Vee Neck - as I have been told it's a good jumper  Seriously now, I have backed and backed Tidal Bay ante post and got 40/1, stand to win over a monkey if it gets its finger out!! Going to have £2.50 e/w on Calgary Bay as well. Good luck everyone
  23. Oh I see he has been busy on these instead of the bespoke job he is doing for me :crying: I will get him to throw some of these in when he sends on my goodies :cool3:
  24. Yep another Northerner to convoy to events darn sarf - to JAE perhaps  Welcome along
