Instrument Display LED's
I bought a set of series 4 clocks from Ianl :thumbup1: mainly just for the circuit sheet but it turns out the best purchase I have made in a while. I have made one perfect one out of the two I had and I found these LED's and was totally surprised as I did not know that these even existed. These pcb's sit underneath and shine light back onto the display. The four bulbs shine through these holes or cut outs, a light diffuser is in each one which I have removed on the finished article but I may put back in at a later date, suck it and see. Couldn't use the one from Ian as there was damage on the screen so I had to use mine, I was too afraid to seperate the plastic screen from the surround!!! All the blanks are there and the screw holes are also underneath, so all I did was dremel out to allow light through, might look a bit tatty but you cannot see these at all. Only one of the four clear bulbs worked so I had to make some up, used red led's and put these into the four bulb holders, tested here on the bench All back in and shining light through Lights on pick up is shown here, the other two wires are to illuminate the GReddy I have which is what the black tape is for, to stop light bleed. I have put in a low fuel light also - hope that works!!! Without the EL dials on - very red!! The GReddy illumination bulb does need moving back a touch as it is a little bright. With the EL dials on - adds a bit of blue One final shot - again very red with the EL dials off. It does want cleaning as I have got some bits in there still. Anybody else have these????????

Standard ride height: Anyone got a tape measure handy?
Mine is certainly not standard but seeing your measurements I was curious to take mine  Rears 630mm Fronts 620mm

how low can I go
My front bumper sits 105mm from the road in the centre, I cannot go any lower than that :w00t: It is my exhaust that catches on all speed humps if I am not careful and creep over them, mostly though I think it is a U clamp that sits the lowest and is this that scrapes :mad2:

Titanium loveliness from Aruba
Got mine today  :nana2:

Titanium loveliness from Aruba
Both same as me, although I did see the OEM keys from another seller somewhere on ebay for a touch less but not really worth searching again for the difference :cool3:

Titanium loveliness from Aruba
My titanium key then must be coming any day seeing as you have yours :cool3: I have also just bought and received the black and red key from Nissan, these are OEM. So all want cutting, currently I have a GTR key that fits all. Do Nissan do them from the VIN number :confused1: Or, can a local shop do them and make the red valet one work as it should?

I hinted at some work that Rich was doing for me in Post 33 and here it is. He his also working on something else and that will be put here also when completed. It is a sheet of steel engraved that sits behind the seats in the slicky and covers my amps It is fantastically sharply cut and made to my exact specifications with an etched border round  I have backlit it and made up two chambers with MDF, simply covered with hardboard as I didn't want any light bleed at all. Have used some of this from ebay to diffuse the light perfectly http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Light-Frost-Diffuser-Gel-Sheets-253-/310315846372?pt=UK_AudioElectronicsVideo_Video_TelevisionSetTopBoxes&hash=item4840440ae4 A little test in a bedroom to see if I have got the brightness right Fitted in the car and clearly can be seen in the daylight An added extra I did was to put 30 LED white strip lights to come on when the boot is open Fitted in the car when fully dark, you can see the boot illuminated with the led strips I put on the bottom of the sheet Lights up the boot very nicely :thumbup1: And finally through the window, the blue and red come on when the stereo is on, I do have a switch option should I want to turn it off. Thank you soon to be a trader TwinTurboRich for your top class work

Electric vs. Mechanical Gauges
I have the 3 stack gauges on my A pillar, 52mm. I have the water temp gauge instead of oil temp and would recommend you get the same, boost and oil pressure as well as you state. http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p13914/STACK-ELECTRIC-WATER-TEMPERATURE-GAUGE-100-250°F/product_info.html Got Graham to illuminate them in blue instead of the white and they look top drawer :cool3:

Engine bay temperature....
135C Al is very hot - I expect your product will be fine :thumbup1: I put a humble but accurate thermometer near the plenum and got the car warm but not fully 100 mile hot on a hot day, it reach its max of 50 celsius, this is way way short of the 135 celsius you state. All the pipes would melt at that :tongue_smilie: HTH, Andy.
