  1. I am working my way up the list with pointless posts like this On page 8 me, someone just above me was born in 1914, that cannot be right Damn sure I will not be on here when I am 98!!!!!
  2. Yes that is still an option but thought a couple or rivets or some nice bolt heads, either four or two will look quite nice, not sure on the clearance below or where it will just go, so have to just sit on my hands at the moment
  3. Not sure if you're being sarky as I do get ribbed for lighting up everything - not sure why I could easily do that and do you know I think I will as I am getting some EL panels anyday from HK, to come on with the sidelights methinks
  4. Just a thank you to the two members that helped me out with this and a plug to boot. I got the Polished Aftermarket Radiator Bracket from AlanZ and the bespoke 'SLICKTOP' plate from TwinTurboRich, I am going to rivet the plate to the bracket. Both just roughly offered in place currently as my new radiator will be fitted after JAE Thank you boys here is the pic
  5. Double entendre heaven Graham.....like it bud, especially the lube action
  6. Offer the 3/4 plate on the bumper and gouge the shape out with a stanley knife, then dremel it out fully, then sink the number plate making a flush mount.........simples, dolloping some silicone on the edges all round to tidy it up you can get black!!
  7. Glad you got it going, did you utter the magic words 'work ya f*cken thing'
  8. I find I am having to do this when pages do not open as they should. On your Internet homepage expand Tools should be at the top somewhere, then Internet Options, Delete Browsing History, then tick the top four boxes, hit delete. Let it delete and then close down your Internet Explorer, then start again, see if that works :thumbup1:
  9. Similar to my tyres those ones. Don't know what the correct is but I have not found anything wrong with somewhere around 36 psi :thumbup1:
  10. £4.50!!!!!! You should of made an offer.....screw a bit more out of it  Not sure if I need some but I will be reckless and get some anyway
  11. Is it roughly then 10 litres for a/m 55mm core rads??
  12. Ewe but don't forget you have to make the journey twice  Perhaps Stoke/Stafford might be a better venue, then it is like around 200/250 miles for everyone, 350 miles is a long way and will mean lots of coffee stops :scooter: you will truly deserve your free burgers at the end :tt2:
  13. That's 143 miles, I am travelling a touch more than that  admittedly mine is downhill and yours uphill
  14. As said above the battery back on should work as I am sure the feed to the seats is permanent live. And it does help Jim if the battery as some juice in it :whistling:
  15. My plans are now finalised. I have booked a hotel in Leicester so I will want to be there to check in on the Friday sometime between 15.00 and 17.00. I will be leaving Burnley at approx noon and can travel across to Leyland and then straight down as far as south Stoke where I will have to branch off and go along the A50 to the south of Derby and go down the M1 to Leicester at J21. Now..... from my house to the hotel is 137 mile and 2hrs 24mins, a further 38 miles and 35 mins from here will see you at Wicksteed Park. Keep up!!! The fastest tomtom route from Burnley to Wicksteed Park is 2hrs 49mins and 171 miles, this is taking you south of Stafford and into Birmingham, not somewhere I want to be on a Friday afternoon!!! My way on the A50 (this looks a dual carriageway all the way along) is only 10mins longer and only 4 miles further, a bit of a no brainer if you ask me I put a motion in where the North West convoy goes this way, we can even meet up with the Donny/North East boys going south at say 15.00 hours at Donnington Park services on the M1 which is just past J24.... What you think :cool3:
  16. I'm happy with my 17s, but if I was a rich as some of you lot I'd be placing an order for some 18s!
  17. Have a good day bud I know, celebrate it by doing a bit of work on your car
  18. Don't think you are on your own and also don't think the police did hold a grudge from your 'behaviour' that day, as when I was 17 I got stopped all the time for no reason. Yes I did have far better cars than my chums but the fuzz think that's a good enough reason to stop you. Got to the stage I carried all my documents with me as I was sick of going to the plod centre with them after they give you a 'producer', back in the day
  19. Never understand why people don't fix little piddly faults before they sell....well anything not just cars. £3 for something for instance he states, then fix it if it's no bother and cheap. Buyers will knock a lot more money off than it would of cost to fix it by the seller, an on the limit tyre for example, £200 off straight away but wack a part worn there for £50 and the problem as gone  Back to the car in question, buy a car with no faults or different faults to the ones mentioned and spend that bit more money if you can, you get what you pay for generally :cool3: It comes across the seller doesn't really care and certainly as no attention to detail :surrender: What else is lurking!!!
  20. Wonderful work. Like your philosophy 'if in doubt spray the b**ger yellow'
  21. What about this Craig http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110548877236&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 I got one a couple of weeks back and I know Daffy as bought one as well :cool3: Not yet arrived though.
  22. If he was there and had seen it all, why the flips as he bothered you at all He sounds like a right conducting good quality police work....yeh :mad2: Next minute the plod want help with something,,,,,,really gets my goat that
