  1. ok ..this realy piss me right off now...i've changed the gearbox again,everything was fine but i haven't drive the car since then, just took the car out today after 3 months ,done about 7 miles ,took it to a motoway floor it a bit ang then agan the same problem as before,gearbox it wont change in to 3 and 4 . done a diag for gearbox and it came up Revolution sensor.where is this sensor exacly and what it does ....exacly same problem with the other box pls help anyone
  2. the thing is that i've changed the box about 6 months ago but still with a second hand one,the fluid is ok i've changed the oil and the filter when i put it on the car .I don't know much about how the torque converter works but can it run ok only for the first and second gear but not for the 3 and 4 ???
  3. there is a noise coming from behind the engine...between the engine and the gearbox where the torque converter is ..can it be the torque converter ????

  5. i just donne a diagnostic and it came up 1 long flash and 10 long ones...
  6. yesterday morning i was driving to work and suddenly the car it wont change in to 3 and 4 gear for some reason ,last night started the car again push the break to put in to gear but gear stick it wont move ,i can put it in gear if i press the little buton at the front but is still the same ,it wont change up.Please if anyone had similar problems let me know cos i really need the car to go to work

  8. the reason i ask is becouse i bought a standard uk tt manual ecu and i want to put it on my jap tt auto too see wich one is more economical cos i use the car every day now for work

  13. as above i need a bit of help with th conzult as is keep saying to conect the cable....i got a blatz usb cable. is there different conzult for usb and com?

  15. ok...last week i've changed the oil filter + oil and no change ,still the same ,took the gear box off and changed just the tc just to see exacly if is the actualy gear box or something else but still no luck.To be honest i was hoppig to be the filter cos was very dirty and then i was sur is the tc but it wasn't,now i've got new oil filter ,new oil changed twice ,millers ,different tc that i'm sure is working and the box is still not working..i've got 1,2 N,R,and P but no D,if i press o/d th car moves but just a bit or if i put it in D keep the brake pressed and press the accelation it looks like gos in the gear them jumps from the gear .i don't know...i've got another gear box but before i'll take it off again and want to make sure the box is f****d and not just a sensor or something else .Olso i've donne a diag for the box and it came up with 1 long at the begining and 10 short same ones . Any ideeas please guys
  16. two days ago my one lost the D but not completly ... is still the same now but it lost the reverse complete plus if i put it into neutral it will still go foward ,not sure what is is but i had a simiar problem long time ago and i've changed the tc and clean the oil filter and changed the oil and it was ok till now ,but in my opinion was just the oil filter really dity,what i will sugest is to check the oil filter or even change it,is only about £25,and change the oil ,that what i'm gonne do tomorrow ,order the filter and get new oil. As soon as i get the filter and change the oil i'll let you know how it went but i'm 90% sure thats the problem
  17. on idle or with the engine revved up is still the same 14 volts ,any good?
  18. tried again tonight ,on one of the pistons the connector was a bit loose ,silly cos i try it so many times but i end up bending the pins inside the connector and it worked and on the other piston i could see that the injector is a different color so is been changed before,we took the injector out and two of the gaskets inside were gonne,tomorrow we gonne change the injector and the gasket and will see if thats the problem
  19. ok thanks a lot guys ..is just that me and my mate we changed his engine but the engine is got 2 missfires ,the engine was ok when we take it off from another zx but after we put it is it wont start at all,we changed the ptu with other one he had ,it did start but is got 2 missfire...the injectors simse ok,don't know what is wrong...
  20. is the series 1 ptu from a tt import the same with a series 1 from a tt uk?
  21. yeah...shame only as turn up to this meth ,but yeah few nice skylines and 200sx...
  22. you can get them from the ferry but i was traveling to europe last summer and i didn't stick them on and i had no problem , maybe others drives did :))
