  1. Hi guys ,i think i may have damage an oil seal somewhere when I've done a boost leak check ,to much air pressure , any ideas where it can leak oil from??? the leak comes from the back of the engine somewhere, i didn't had the time to look properly but maybe someone done the same mistake like me in the past and knows were to look.
  2. From my experience hold the revs at 2000rpm for about 10-15 seconds ,if it starts to smoke that's the turbo seals .that's what I've learned from the club years ago.

Hello guys ,just realised on my z the TPS reads 0.88v which i know is not good ...0.45v is the right reading but i can't get it, it only goes down to 0.88v and above, I've changed the TPS with another one just to see if i can adjusted but no luck..same as mine...now i'm thinking if is got anything to do with me converting the car from auto to manual... ??? any ideas???

  5. i have changed four auto gear boxes on my one...if you hear the grinding noise and it won't change up ..the box is gone...the fifth time i have converted mine to manual...more fun with no problems

Hi guys my brother in law bought a z just over a year a go and today the head gasket went ,i took the spark plug out on number 5 piston and start the car ,water is coming out through the hole and also white smoke at the back of the exhaust. Looking on the net i come across these head gasket repair kit ...K-SEAL or there is few more makes out there...just want to know if any of you used these products and if there any good or he really needs to do the head gasket
  7. ok.always used Castrol 10w60 but i'm thinking to go for something different , reading all these i'm a bit confused now....so what oil is good for a tt running about 14 psi ,with about 100.000 miles on the clock?
  8. hi guys just done the manual conversion 1 week ago and i need a bit of help with few bits ,i am still running with the same ecu i had before which is for an auto but people reckon is ok -what do i need to do with the auto box ecu (just disconnect?) -clutch,i don't have the air reservoir and all other vacuum pipes but i've put an one way valve and it sames to be a bit better (witch way the valve needs to go ???just to make sure i've got it the right way) -now the car sames to be very laggy,turbos kick in at about 4000 rpm with the auto was at 2000 rpm ....4000 rpm is that right? -and also is there anything i need to do with the ecu ???someone said i need to connect a wire from pin 52 or 54 (i can't remember)to earth

  15. i know that ...but i'm trying to find out exacly what can go whrong cos i changed the gearbox and after 10 miles is doing the same thing ..it won't go up to 3rd and 4ft gear and i have checked the oil cooler cos you can hear the oil going throw and i found loads of s..t in it and thats whay i'm thinking what could go whrong
  16. what can go whrong if the oil cooler is a bit blocked and don't let the oil to go throw propelly?

  18. no,the engine didn't die it just stayed in to second but i'm thinking now...i've donne the same thing when i had the other gearbox aswell ...just before it happened because i have one of the abs sensor faulty the abs light is coming on and i've turn the ignition off and them quik back on to turn the light off but i've done this while i was is D and i think it was 2 gear... and then it stayed in 2 ,so i don't know exacly what happend but tonight i've open the other gear box wich was doing exacly the same thing to see if is something wrong but i can't see nothing mechanicly wrong and i took the all box apart...i don't know a lot about the autoboxes but last time when i opened o box ,some of the cluch plates were stuck together and that was the problem but now i can't see nothing wrong..maybe is something electrical but is not coming on diagnostic.... any ideeas about all these???

  21. please anyone just to double check ..one longflash and 10 short flashes is all clear or is the Revolution sensor??? and also anyone knows a good gearbox specialist aroun london?
  22. ok....i've checked the resistance on the revolution sensor and is 649 wich is good ,in the manual sais is got to be betwin 500 and 650 resistence ,changed the ecu box aswell with the ecu that wich came with this gearbox and is still give me the same error 1 ong flash and 10 short flashes wich if i'm not wrong is the revolution sensor. the next step is to check the wires from under the bonet to the gearbox ecu to see if are interrupted somewhere .any ideeas please let me know
  23. got the manual aswell just checking it now...
  24. ok just come back from ouside....and i go back again..:) to check the wire from Revolution sensor and if is ok then tomorrow after work i'll change the box ecu cos i've got another one and if nothing happends i'll try to change the Revolution sensor aswell ...discconected the batery aswell and still give me the some error...
