Was snowing heavily in Cheltenham at 3pm so I left an hour early.

I had HICAS on for a while until Baggins disabled it for me (using the shoting out trick). The car is much more predictable in a slide now, IMHO, and I like the fact that I haven't got a system in between me and the steering. At least if I cock up I know it's my fault alone. Just don't like the idea of something electro/mechanical trying to make decisions for me in a tricky situation.

I agree, tooley. He completely wasted a donor liver which could have gone to someone more deserving who would've looked after themselves.

Started the year by being made redundant :( Got a much better job, with 50% more pay, 2 months later :) Bought lots of cigars. Passed my Advanced Driving test. Turbos went kaput. Found out that my car doesn't have the Stage 2 turbos it was advertised as having when I bought it. New turbos in. Got a Road Angel Navigator for half price.

Mine (a TT) is my daily driver and I do at least 52 miles a day during the week. I average about a tank of Optimax a week, which is £55-ish.

I have 19 on the way to work and that's the fast route. 99 spec is not an option 'cos a) I don't like it much and b) I couldn't afford it anyway. Was just looking for a cheap fix really.

I thought about bigger wheels but I don't want to slow the acceleration down. I'd keep the mesh somehow - there would not be a big gap.

I've got a bit of an issue with speed bumps, due mainly to the bottom part of my front spoiler with has a 1" deep 'scrape plate' (can't see it in the picture). I could get around this by removing the section. What do you think?
