  1. I'd have to disagree ! Part from a cold shower I thought its a great location.
  2. Lol, this build is more for sport than a daily driver as such, doing proper downhill tracks rather a nip to the shops and back.
  3. Excellent Voddy, cant wait for this years JAE !!
  4. Series II or better !
  5. So, After a few tweaks and chops; mainly the handlebars and stearer tube i got myself my new chainset and tyres. Finding the tyres a bit too tight and me being to eager i managed to damage one of the inner tubes putting it on. Well i actually managed to scewer the inner tube with a knife that i was using to force the tyre on with. This was just after xmas and new year so not as if i can just order up a next day delivery on a new tube as there extra thick compared to standard. Well i ordered a tube and expecting it not untill monday i funnily enough was delivered by parcel force midday today. In my exceitment i drove the zed to my brothers house dismantled my new mtb and brought it all home again ready to assemble properly. Taking my time this time round all went well and heres my final build : Front shocks are Rockshock uTurns with 120mm travel, rear has a fox float with about the same. Handlebars and stem are made by loaded and the brakes are Juicy Elixir's. On the rear we have a shimano XTR mech and ive gone for the Maxxis Minion downhill tyres. Again Loaded for the seatpost keeping weight right down and a Jaxcy seat. Lastly we have my raceface chainset which is a single speed with bash guard attached. I'm really chuffed with the final build and cant wait to get it on a proper course. However now i need to save pennies for a better crash helmet and body padding.
  6. Here's the internals of my original series 4 clocks and the nismo version which I now have fitted: As you can see the corner cluster of lights is missing but even the internal casing differs so no swapping the corner modules over either: The plugs in the corners are also reversed.
  7. Regarding the boost gauge after you fit a cluster with a gauge all you need is a sender as the loom for it is still on the passenger side tucked away with gray tape! Just get a t piece and some vacuum tube and connect it up.
  8. It's the top left and right connections that are in reverse plug wise, but I done a manual conversion on mine so no big loss and the extra lights that were there!
  9. Series 4 clocks have the same fittings as series 2 actually : Well the two main connections are, if you've got an auto then you will lose the extra illuminations in the corners showing hicas and power status. I've got the JDM clocks that goes to 300 and they work fine in my series 4.
  10. What bin you planning in using ?:whistling:
  11. Get a plug like this and fit it in place of the maf :
  12. you need to get hold of a compressor and a plug to fit down at the maf. Compress the system and listen for hissing !
  13. Possable boost leak ??
  14. Photoshops the best !!
  15. Don't read much myself as generally too busy doing other stuff, Saying that the wife got me a copy of Steve Jobs new book for Xmas so likely be starting on that at some point.
  16. I would add more pictures !!:whistling:
