Not had the best bank holiday lol
Holy fook matey, Glad your ok, still thinking of a baby seat, after seeing this knowing how easy it is to spin them i'm staying well clear. I've spun mine a few times and each time i think that was close but always thinking it could never happen for real. All it takes is a damp patch and an embankment to fall down and your royaly screwed. Hope its not as bad as it looks and can be fixed as i bets if you look outside there will be a few vultures hovering already. lee

Extreme Bad Luck
Well it looks like my luck has turned ! Dropped of the flat wheel to the garage this morning and 30 min agao nipped into to see what the script is, luckily the wheel just lost pressure around the rim and theres nothing else up with it. Thank fook for that. Likely lost presure as it was likely too low in the first place so soon as its back on the zed i'll double check them all.

Lights problem
Try disconnecting the right side pod see if the light go off. If they do you could have a faulty pod or wiring.

Lights problem
Having the front fogs on causes this effect ! When front fogs are on the dash lights up and all normal lights that are usually off without key in the ignition also turn on ! Not sure if it's standard but my series 4 tt does exactly this when I put my fogs on. Its like it over rides all standard lights.

does anyone actually like this new site format
As much as we all like a poll I think in this occasion it's now pointless ! Firstly the idea of rolling back to the older version is an option we simply cannot do. The decision to upgrade the software was well over due and wasn't done light heartily either ! The main reason for the forum update wasnt to give us better features but was to do with system security and the protection of our member base information stored on the 300zx.co.uk's servers. Over the years since vBulletins creation it has become a very well known forum software and also it's become a target of its own success with many security issues relating to older versions. As the older version will soon be no longer supported security of our system could eventually be compromised and that is a risk we just could not take. Before full launch of this new version we had a test system running for over two weeks to ensure it was running the way we thought would be satisfactory to everyone but we decided to launch the upgrade early due to seeing some strange activity on our so called private test system. All I can say is even though we launched early we quickly got through most of the serious bugs within the first 24 hours and the smaller ones within a week later. Now I know we lost some features but this was mainly because the software was so out of date that the modules or addons we had running were no longer supported so we lost the functionality. Good news is we're more than likely to get the rides section *back with it being even more packed with great features and we will also soon be able to get full android and ios apps customised for our club available on each mobile platform for free! Now - to conclude ! We take all feedback seriously and any comment made will be treated fairly however I must stress as a club we want to keep your information secure and doing that means we cannot role back at any point to the older version. I hope this is now understood and everyone is in agreement that it was done solely to enhance our system security and prevent any future security breaches. Lee

Hi guys, I've been real busy at work lately so some of the tweaks still need to be done so please bare with me its still on the cards. As far as the rides section goes at the time of upgrade the current version of the rides wasn't compatable with this version of vbulletin. Good news is it now IS !!! I've posted a notice in committee discusions so that we can arrange, test and properly install and import all the rides section again as it was ! And with a whole load of new features the new system comes with. So again bare with us and i'll try get it all going again shortly. Thanks Lee

Extreme Bad Luck
Every get those times where you do something and go out your way only for something else to happen ! Well it's one of those days for me ! Started off yesterday after giving my TT a good wash then I noticed that my front reg plate was all washed out looking and half of the numbers were washed out or faded away. First thought was the wife (always blame the wife first, lol) had used the jeti at home and washed the reg plate which is powerfull enough to strip paint but what actually happened is some wise ass peeled of the laminate and took half the letters with it when they did. You can see what I mean in this pic ! I don't really know how long I've been driving about like this so I didn't want to risk getting caught by traffic cops so I moved the zed off the street into the morisons car park across the road for now then phoned around the local garages to see who does a new reg plate and get it done today! Turns out nobody in Ayrshire where I stay had the square style reg spates to make up and halfords told me about a week to get one done so I told them where to go. Finally after an hour of phoning every garage I found one in Kilmarnock which is a good 10 miles away. Not risking getting caught I left the zed at home and drove the wife's VW Bug and picked up the plate and drove home again to fit the new plate. After getting it on I drove back to work in the zed and for some reason decided to park back in the same spot at morisons only to arrive into the car park with a thud and then what I could only describe as a moment of shear pant browning event and I put the breaks on and done a walk about to see what I could see. Well bad luck it seems came quickly as my rear drivers side was flat as a pancake ! On the good side I've just picked up a set of 19's at a great price a few days ago which haven't arrived but bad luck calls in again as I've no money to get new tyres or get them done up this month so I'm now zed less for a month. So trying not to get caught by traffic cops to save money ended up going to cost me money getting this fixed ! What dumb luck and a complete pain in the ass !

what is this for?
That's how my series 4 vac system is hooked up ! I'm going by that and seems to work, lol
-
what is this for?
The one in the picture should connect to the fuel pressure regulator and the one that's a bit forward from it goes down towards the front of the car and connects to recircs as far as I know!

Auto fold mirror module
I wouldn't end this just yet as its a great feature to add and surely more people put there names down ! Just think we should bump it more frequently so that it's not lost among the other threads that are currently going.

Can be done in the right weather conditions although not likely a mag mount, lol years ago i used to have a hi gain silver rod which was on a 20' scaffi pole on the third floor nearly of my roof. This was all before the internet kicked off but when the effect of weather happened which we called skip you could talk to folks on the other side of the world nearly. But furthest i got was sweden and germany.
