  3. So you have a electronic boost controller fitted, if not id leave the pipes for the actuators alone.
  4. its the suzuki capachinno
  5. hmmm not sure on them, i think i remember seeing someones car on here with them already on, think it was silver though cant be sure. anyway not sure i want the same alloys as other members
  6. do a write up on how to do the door cards once you have done the first one, as i found that a pain in the arse when i did it, wanted to get the door cards out of the way first as they looked the more difficult to master.
  7. doubt its the UJ, last time i looked at that, it was caked in a healthy dose of axel grease, ive moved the PTU to near the battery so no chance of it rubbing the alternator belt lol. i did check them though as i had to solder in the connectors as i didnt have a sub harness to go from the old one to the new one.
  8. i fecking like them.......
  9. typical, the only alloys i liked on that site http://www.performancealloys.com/wheel-details.aspx?ID=2367 are not available for the 300zx.
  10. hmm not sure on them, why is it so hard to find a specialised website dedicated to deep dish alloys
  11. i like them, but think the blue would be a bit much on a blue car lol Ok here we go, challenge time, i want something either like a 5 spoke design, or a design like what Egg's has on his car, but not to many spokes, i already have multi spoke wheels and they are a pain in the arse to keep clean. So what wheels would you stick on my car to replace what i already have (and no steel wheels are slightly out of the question before you post baz / steams / car.mad / daz ) sorry quick edit, need to have a dish on them.
  12. best rip the other one off the gearbox in the garage then, unless you cant change the speed sensor in a auto lol
  13. i actually forgot about that, doesn't seem to be that though speed o was working fine today, its started doing the Prrr prrrrr prrrr sound again on idle as well, like its slightly missing every now an then, i cured that last time by switching to a S2 PTU but now seems to be back, strange it happened around the same time the steering has gone notchy, and i get slight engine hunt when i come off the acceleration to pull up to a stop. ooh cars a 1991 UK spec TT auto. And just when i sent you a PM saying that it hadnt done anything silly in a while  bloody typical.
  14. does anyone know a website where to look at deep dish alloys, why is it i can not find deep dish alloys? and not ebay lol
  15. Well car was fine yesterday, today strange notchy steering like it keeps getting snagged on something when turning, checked the PS pot and the correct amount of fluid is in there, checked the tyre pressure and although my passenger side was slightly lower than the drivers side, pumped it up and still the same, could this be related to the steering arms and my mysterious clunk i have at low speed?
  16. jealousy gets you no where, cant help it if you cant see the benefit of having 8inches longer. :tt2:
  17. personally i find there are too many variables to place the blame solely on one part of the car or even type of zed, tyres, road condition, how much throttle you give it, suspension set up, standard ware on bushes ect, all play key factors. Im sure there are people with hicas deletes and SWB that lose the back end just as much as those who have hicas or a LWB.
  18. where are people getting 34c from, it cant be the UK, im slap bang in the middle of the country and its not even pushing close to 20c, its also over cast, but no rain yet.
  19. You could pull over and ask them for the calibration certificate, if they cant prove its calibrated then they really shouldn't be jotting down your number plate, id also be questioning their motive for jotting it down based on car cloning if they are not the police and would be inclined to ring the police to express my concern. As for speeding, if you are in between signs, then (got told this by a traffic officer) but if you are going from at 50 zone into a 30, and your doing 45 in between the 50 and the 30 sign, then you are not doing anything wrong, the 30mph zone kicks in level with the 30 sign.
  20. Here are a few good reads on oil, from our very own member and trader Oilman http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?34815-Oil-Advice-and-Recommendations&highlight= http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?122188-Oil-advice-for-a-modded-300ZX&highlight=
  21. lol, did love the push bike with one modded on
  22. 1. these are 20 year old cars 2. not only are these 20 years old, they are very cheap Now taking into account what ive just put, most people buy them thinking they are a quick way into loads of power for little money, they treat them like they would a saxo 1.1lt, they do not maintain them properly and then at the first sign of a big repair bill off load them to the nearest mug. I can assure you, if driven properly and maintained to a high level, a TT will give you no more grief than a N/A, the sad reality is, the moment you buy a TT you find you have to restore it. also, no offence to you N/A lads, but seems the bottom end gives up on the N/A more than our turbos give in. id much rather pull an engine to replace the tubs, than have to pull the engine because its thrown a hissy fit and destroyed its self. :tt2:
