  1. what setting did you have your multi meter on? come on, crap advice if you don't give your settings lol oh and yeah i know what you mean, checking to see why my horn was playing up along with my aux fan, and found out i had a bulge in my front passenger side tyre on the inside edge, £40 and a part worn pirelli Pzero later, got a decent tyre.
  2. was at the car trying to figure out what was going on with my horn as it sounded a bit like a choked chicken, and also trying to figure out why my aux fan wasnt working, well changed me fuse for the aux fan, as id used that when the engine cont fuse kept blowing so that sorted out the aux fan out so thats now working. I emptied out all the water the horns had gathered, though have a feeling unless they dry out and start working, ill have to replace them with the spares i have. But was trying to see if i could find out what was causing my clunking when steering and braking, and put my hand on the passenger side tyre, only to feel a rather large bulge :o luckily i found that as i still have pretty good tread on it so wouldnt of really paid much attention unless the tyre needed changing. Off to get a part worn for now and then get some fresh new falkens later when the rears need changing.
  3. who me? i love the things
  4. i really want one of these lol
  5. i was randomly looking at Lambo murcielago kit car videos, when i came across this one, have a look near the end when he switches the engine off, see if you can spot what i did in the back ground parked next to it lol well you can spot it from the still its showing at the moment parked next to it lol VzfVi-lJLkI
  6. that would be telling, anyway not giving away my lotto numbers just incase everyone picks them and bloody wins the same day i do. would be gutted getting me quid back.
  7. check the cars for sale section here on the board, might be someone with a car to your tastes, they are rare as it is so never more than around 30 to 40 cars for sale at any one time, though if you get one imported you will be paying a premium, would really depend on what you want from it, most of the cars here in the UK are modified to the owners tastes. but welcome to the forum bud and good luck, just remember if you go for a car in the UK, if there is someone close to you who knows these cars, get them to come along with you as they will know what to look out for.
  8. thought they were 2million euros on release, anyway not to worry, ill let you know how the test drive goes.
  9. well been wanting one for ages, so thought id bite the bullet and get one, found this really nice example on ebay as well, and with in my budget. anyway, my dream ride just HERE
  10. the plug on the side and gravity so yeah, looks like you are doing it the correct way for a DIY job lol Glad she is all up and running nicely, not that bad a job getting the engine out just time consuming when you haven't don't it on a zed before.
  11. thats actually insane, you only see a slither of headlights then the cabs gone at full speed video. some nasty incidences out there. this guy was lucky, cant remember what happened, but he hit a drain as he come off the freeway which sent his car into the underpass, he was actually thrown clear of the car and survived, this was on discovery channel at one point last year i think in a series that was called "i shouldnt be alive" or something like that. pgUxFb3lGUY and still not as bad as this bunch of idiots in a BMW f-cqYWmahnk
  12. door car remove is easy, 2 screws under the felt in the drivers door handle dip, lighter holder (lol), 2 down the side of the door where the hinges are, depend if yours is jap spec or not will depend if you have to remove seatbelt from the lower section and upper section of the door. wind the window half way down, from out side of the car there is a small plastic covering hiding another screw (best to use a magnetic screwdriver for that one) that will let you remove the top door arm cover giving you access to the 3 10mm / philips screws under it, then you have a few more screws on the outter edge of the door near the door catch, then pop the door handle cover off, unplug the window switch, now pull the plugs from the lower part of the door trim, and lift it clear.
  13. oh yeah forgot about that, the guy that cant walk from his car to his house, the only person to park next to my car and even when he had my paint on his rear bumper and i had his paint on my bumper, point blankly refused to acknowledge it was him who hit my car while parking.
  14. looks like its now forsale http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-Nissan-Fairlady-300ZX-2-2-Coupe-Manual-Targa-roof-T-T-Red-Northampton-/320903140265?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4ab75153a9#ht_700wt_932
  15. Noticed as well that ebay is the same, usually around 33 to 38 300zx's on there for sale a few years back, only around 23 to 25 now. they are getting less and less.
  16. reminds me of the time me my ex mrs, my mate and his mrs went clubbing over Northampton, we came out got in his brand spanking new convertible astra, as we were sitting there, this couple got in this sliver car parked across from us with its ass end facing us, the woman just reversed straight across the car park and into the side of his car, caved in the rear quarter panel right where me ex was sitting at the time, found out she was pissed as a fart. Also has some idiot hit my pug 406 as well while it was parked in a shopping centre carpark, they just drove off with no details left. there really are some ass hats out there bud. sorry about your zed though mate.
  17. thats either a problem with your card or a problem with the photo frame matey or a problem with your card reader. all my SDcards work fine with the lock on them.

Sad to see you go, if any subscribed member from the ASG region wants to fill his shoes, please get in contact with me via PM. Biggest problem with little meets is they get arranged but then people fail to show up, happens everywhere for some reason.
  19. well, looks like ill have to change the front tie rods then, just spoke to jamie at zedworld and at least its not as bad a job as the rear hicas arms.
  20. i know what your saying, but had the same thing on the rear hicas, that also had what looked like a leak but wasnt the rear rack that was leaking, i suppose the only way to really know would be to get the damn thing off the car :(
  21. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300ZX-Fairlady-Z32-Steering-Front-Rack-End-Tie-Rod-/270302268851?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3eef454db3 cheap as chips, think its that square part on the end of the picture shown thats failed. just like it did on my cherry red zed but was on the rear hicas.
  22. thing is, is it the rack or is it the end joins like what i had go on the rear hicas on my red one, might explain my clunking ive been suffering with and there is a lot of play left to right movement on the front wheel on the drivers side. so i think it might actually be the square nut area on the front tie rod, aaargh hard to explain. Its not leaking as in dripping on the floor, but it is noticably oily looking.
  23. Ok quick update, seems i have something leaking from the dust boot on the drivers side steering arm as it goes into the power steering actuator (think that what its called) Guess i need to find out if its the arm or the actuator that leaking. but its definitely not the speed sensor on the gearbox, as my gear changing is working fine and so is my speed O. Has anyone changed the actuator and if so, what do i need to know? looks like it could be a PITA to get to while the engine is in.
  24. only 50? id say thats under average for Dave.
  25. mate its so tempting but im not a callous ******* and actually prefer having a nice clean 100% ebay record
