Legality of removing a childseat in the rear of a 2+2?
Oh, also as with my own children, Ive found you need a seat that is held in place by the car belts and have there own retaining system for the child so it stops it leaning about. What would also help is if someone did a mold for the bottom of the seat to take out the "bucket" aspect of it and made it flat. this would allow us more options on car seats. My car seats have a section that folds under it that sits nicely into the bucket seat to stop it flopping about. my children are 2 and 4 years old so im stuck with the big bulky child seats for now.

how old is your little girl, would most likely be better with a booster cushion as apposed to a seat depending on age, at the end of the day as long as the seat belt is covering her shoulder and across her belly so as not to cause MORE injury in the event of an accident. then you should be ok.

actually seriously thinking of selling my car.
I have ODB nissan scan tech and consults, both do the same, i find consults is better for the information screen, but ODB nissan scan tech is better for all the parameters i can mess about with lol, though that might have something to do with the fact im using the free version of consults as i cant get my registered version working with the consults box. though i think the box has been replaced at some point with one of the dodgy ones from ebay. the connector too it is a small gray connector down near the bonnet release puller cable.

Who just outbid me on that 300zx police car on ebay??? I thought that was mine :(
You just never told them how long into the future they would have to wait for that to happen.

well plan is, smooth sideskirts, OEM wings again back on her, abflug type 4, black bonnet (for now till i get my VIS racing vented bonnet from the US) blacked out roof bars, with the black 99 spec rear spoiler. once the rust has been sorted out. thats the plan anyway, something similer to this but with out the A-pillers being black out or the tail gate. That is actually sporting the bonnet style im getting. damn it might have to crack out photoshop to try and see what its going to look like on my car. it might actually change my mind about thinking about selling. anyway daz, there is no way mine competes on the same level as your convertable, that thing is just stunning.

bloody hell mate, when mine over heated it only got to 240f, or 127c, i had to do a block test after that to make sure i hadnt blown the HG or warped the heads. ooh and it spat its coolent out of the over flow bottle.

With ignition on, unplug the yellow connector on the front water pipe, the Aux fan should kick in as it detects a fault and thinks the engine is over heating. thought as much, no worrys i can do that blind folded now lol

yep heard that a lot, can it be removed with out taking the radiator out? or wil it just be easier, need to change my front water pipe at somepoint anyway as someone screwed the temp sensor into it in the wrong places.

I suppose this was a "make me feel good about it kind of thread", but yeah i know a lot of it is paranoia, but still would like to stop it creeping like it does towards the 100c, even though nissan them selves dont think its over heating till the temp hits 110 degrees (well thats what they say in the service manual anyway) I did get a awesome quote on getting the rust sorted out though, even if it was going to leave the car with undercoat on for a bit. so thats a definate on the list before september.

that was my initial thought, but before my over heating issue when the thermostat failed, it never had a problem, then the thermos failed, changed that, then i had a clogged radiator, then it was clogged heater matrix, then it was air pocket, sorted out all of them, the only thing i can think of now, is its the actual radiator i put in to replace the clogged one, i know i really need to remove the A/C radiator to aid cooling. today sitting still in traffic, i had to have the heater set on 40 and on full and use conzults to have the Aux fan on just to keep it sitting at 88c in midday heat. so its defo a airflow issue over the radiator of some sort.

yeah ive got the standard TT rad with the clutch fan, not sure if my clutch is any good, when im driving it cools sufficiently, but stand still and it doesnt, the temp creeps up 1 degree every 5 mins or so (not a major over heating issue) but just creeps like the system is being over come gradually, i changed the radiator not too long ago because of blocked internals, now this one seems to be going the same way, i even gave the system a good flush out the other week, but noticed my rad was clogged on the out side by loads of tiny little bits of grit and stones. i just cant seem to stop being paranoid that its not going to over heat again. if i sell it, ill get another even if i do end up having to sort out all the same issues ive had on my previous 4 to this one. Ive done around 5 block tests as well to rule out HG, so i know it is definitely not that, i might try ripping out the A/C radiator as i no longer have A/C in the car. so give it added air flow, i also have a full radiator cowl around it.

reason being is, since it over heated, ive never really felt confident in it, plus this annoying clunk at the front, will be getting the body issues sorted first if i do. and most likely a uprated radiator. the hot weather is making me doubt the cooling system is up to the job, not sure if its a combination of me being paranoid, the radiator needing changing, or the front mounted intercooler, but the car got up to 93 degrees today (weather report states had temps of 29, but car was showing ambiant temp of 32 so not sure how accurate that was), now i know some of the peeps in the US, especially in Texas drive around with there temp at around the same, but for me sitting there being used to seeing 82 its a bit nerve wrecking still. i dunno, think im being silly but i just don't feel confident in it at all since that thermostat failed.

Wrong fairlady from 1969 to present, as long as you are in japan, then every Z car released was classed as the fairlady lol
