  1. also looking for some new pedal rubbers, really need those bushes proto as well. think ill be dropping my auto box out of the car tomorrow. but gotta wait on some bolts yet as well before sticking the manual on :(
  2. ok am i missing something here? manual gear stick bushes 2 x £3.60 = £7.20, ok i get that 20% VAT an all that, but the next bit just astonishing really. Postage to UK address £8.40? Er...... wft bit OTT on shipping for a very small part. is that a joke or does he really charge £8.40 for two small parts to be sent via recorded, hell ive had bigger things than that ive posted recorded for less.
  3. Didn't use glue bud, there is this new invention called bolts and nuts, i used the nuts on the threads that came on the parts supplied
  4. think the only person who can really answer that is you bud.
  5. we went through this a while back when it was announced, im sure you can still remember as you commented in the thread and we covered the same things then as what you are on about now. zclub and 300zx.co.uk have sorted out any differences we had and have moved on as for "the other site" no such arrangement has been made and thus we stand by our editing. Think heavy handed as you may, but that is our stance and we are staying with it for now, things might change in the future.
  6. no offence but you know not too, why test the water still?
  7. Click image for video, pretty much a small video for those that struggle getting the clutch pedal assembly in place due to the thick wiring loom at the top, man i sound strange in that video lol
  8. i aint even changed the gearbox yet bud. all i did today was stick the clutch pedal and brake pedal in lol. still need to change the throttle pedal yet. Errrr. is it true the wing needs to be removed as im going to find that very bloody difficult as the wing is blended into the side skirts and the front bumper, and the side skirts are blended into the car its self.
  9. you two are a bit late to the party lol
  10. wont be for a while (couple of months) and even then would depend if i can get them off the car with out wrecking them. you can get new ones from zcenter
  11. click me profile, click albums, or hunt for recent posts, i got the vented wings and there bloody horrible lol
  12. i kinda hazard a guess that it wasnt directed at me, your ok matey lol. I suppose at least i didnt have the auto reaction of saying "love you too" back.
  13. nothing to do with me mate, i was hanging up at the time something else happened on his end LOL
  14. really not a fan of muscle cars, the only one id actually want to own is the 69 stingray
  15. the wings i have on my car are wider by 20mm.
  16. Its ok, not going to say a word
  17. yes there is, apparently it defaults to 5 btdc, after (iirc from what jeff said) you need to adjust the timing once the conversion has been done, when the engine temps are between 60 and 70 degrees or something like that.
  18. think i put down just before it got going lol.
  19. sorted then, well, hardest parts out the way, now just need to change the gearbox, though is quite amusing have 3 pedals in a auto.
  20. well, not sure if this is how its supposed to be, but its a RPS streetmax clutch housing, with a Nissan (so can only presume its OEM) clutch friction disk.
  21. nope its a fidenza lightweight flywheel, but from the looks of it, using OEM bolts to bolt it to the crank
  22. but is the auto (flywheel bolts) different lengths to the manual flywheel bolts? thats the question. as ill have 8 spare when i remove my auto box, if they are the same length (doubt it, the auto's looks thinner so bolts are shorter id imaging) its going to put a halt on getting the gearbox on. Mark what are you doing this weekend? or are you working on your motor.
  23. typical dirty minded bugger  Is there a RPS direct website or something so i can email them and see if they do spare bolts?
