wheel arch
there are two hat nuts connecting the front bumper to the wing near the headlights, then there is a bolt holding the top part of the bumper to the lower end of the wing. and there is a metal type of frame that sits in the bumper that helps connect the under tray to the out side edge of the bumper I bet that has confused the living crap out of you now lol

Strange misfire
You got your through a Emissions test with the same sort of misfire? also do you have decat pipes as mine does, so emissions are going to be a bit higher on mine already.

FAO malkie 300zxtt
Graham, i think he was trying to start up a business, in which case to sell large amounts of items he would need to get registered as a trader.

You know its low when.....
Its been lowered all around by 40mm by the looks of it. if i park with the front end facing the curb i have to make sure i don't hit it. no two ways about it lol Thanks for the kind remarks, i just hope it does pass with all the hard work ive been doing recently to get it ready. Pasted up my broken exhaust today, using Hard and fast (it is actually called that lol) metal putty. sorted out the hole i poked in it (but i can still see it failing on that as at the moment it sticks out like a sore thumb lol) and today i have loads of fun putting some half decent break pads on the front. (why is it such a ball ache to change the break pads on our cars with stock calipers on them?) Oh found out why the black zed failed on breaks binding. the pistons on the passenger side caliper had no rubber socks around them, and were well......locked solid in the closed position:huh:, but they are free now so think ill give them a refurb and sell them

FAO: Any Mechanics
i accidentally picked up the wrong oil once in a garage when my low oil alarm went off on my golf GTI and i needed to get it home. didn't realise until 6 months later that i had actually got diesel oil for it, ran fine. but changed it soon as i realised. If you do do it. change the oil for the proper stuff before you sell it. but be aware, there is no telling what damage you will cause the engine in the processes.

Petrol smell + funny noise
open the bonnet, and check for fuel smells when you start the engine, prime location for fuel leak would be under the fuel pressure regulator (top had looking thing between cylinders 4 and 6 on the passenger side of the plenum) Rattling could be associated with the clutch release bearing like you say. if your good with a socket set, not too hard to change and if you can, change the clutch / rear crank oil seal while your there.

Strange misfire
Well i get no hesitation when i floor it, though im too busy holding on for dear life to even notice much else. so what ever it is, it isn't effecting performance.
-
Strange misfire
Well i think its a misfire? Start car when cold, everything sounds perfect. once the revs settle down out of the passenger side exhaust pipe you hear like a sputtering type of noise, almost like "per per....pper....per....pp...per", yet she runs fine as day when more revs are applied? I havent changed the coil packs around yet to see if that's anything to do with it, and she has a nice and new S2 PTU with cleaned connections so i cant see that being a problem. I'm kinda worried that she might fail on emissions on the passenger side bank at this rate. But when its doing it i get a noticeable change on number 6, if removed, but not on number 4, and i cant try number 2 yet as i havent managed to free the cable enough to unplug it yet *mainly due to not trying lol* So any ideas what it could be if the coil pack and spark plug change doesn't cure it?

got to sell one
You need the UK spec rear seat belts, plus the drivers and passenger seats a little forward and the seat back almost upright, just makes me feel like I'm in a ridged bucket seat. but they do go.
-
got to sell one
Sell the delsol and get a real CR-X lol naa, if you love the zed, and she loves the del sol, and neither of you have kids, get shot of the Lexus. you can always get a practical car later when you actually need one lol (says the person whose child seats are not in the practical car and are infact in the back of the zed)

Huge loom problem
I have my MOT next week on thursday, if it passes and i get my car taxed, ill pop down in the zed so you can compare if you havent sorted by then. i take it you do not have the balance bar on the plenum while trying to fit it? as the cables go under that.

Nice new car

Tyre size question for Falkens.
First off, the dude saying falken do not make 452's in that size is trying to pull one over on you, as that is the same size tyre i have on the rear and i will be replacing the tyres with falken 452's in 255/40/17 HERE that might be a US site, but does prove they are in exsitance. Artztogo gave me a link to a UK site that delivers them but i have lost it some where lol

how many
When i went to get insurance on my silver zed, when i typed the number plate in and then pressed "find my car" it came up as a 3ltr Nissan primera :confused1: So im not even sure if most of the jap spec ones will be registering as a 300zx lol

Huge loom problem
is it a standard cable? if so you should just, have enough to get the plugs to there relative fittings. so plugging it in the correct place shouldn't be a problem. do you have it snagged on anything? it is short but should JUST about reach.

Removing headlights?
easy if you have a after market air filter, as most of the crap that gets in the way of the rear inner nuts is pretty much out of the way, if you still have the original air filter housing and the OEM recirculation valves, it can be a bit of a pig. but is doable, but as people have said, just remove the front bumper to make life easier for your self
