  1. I can report that the reporter gave the correct report
  2. From: xxxxxx To: lewisgverity Subject: Details about the item: xxxxxx sent a message about Alloy Wheels Nissan 300ZX 5 Stud Rare Custom Design #180644119901 Sent Date: 27-Mar-11 11:00:07 BST Dear lewisgverity, Hi i was looking over your add concerning the wheels and i have a few concerns. First is you state that the wheels are done by a professional in the music industry, can you supply the name and contact number so i can verify this please. Also, you say they are not decals but stenciled on to high detail, yes from the second picture in, its clearly showing that its a decal where the number has been "cut" in half to get the shape to fit the alloy. My concern would be, if i purchased these and found out that my assumptions are correct and that all these are, are wheels covered in decals with lacquer over the top (in fact you dont have to answer that one as its clear that's exactly what they are, as you can see the out line of the stickers) that i would then have to pursue a legal case for false advertising. It would be appreciated if you could get back to me on this, as if i can verify there authenticity, i would gladly purchase them at £300 Regards xxxxxx -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear xxxxxx, hi thanks for the question, i can confidently say that actually running my finger over the fender and other lettering it is completely FLAT and therfore sprayed not decal, also the guy was a bespoke guitar painter / designer and apparently if you know anything about guitar painting they are big on lacquer, in fact the car i purchased had been attacked by the stuff! its a shame you couldnt view before purchase cos if you did you would throw £300 quid at me and run with the alloys! kind regards always - lewisgveri
  3. Tbh, i agree as i have read my insurance documents, and yes you do need insurance to have a car on a public road. whether you are driving it or not, it even clearly states that the VEHICAL is insured not the driver. they only like to know who the driver is going to be so they know who is holding the policy, but the policy is for the vehicle and driver. not just one or the other. other wise you wouldn't have to give your reg details and would be able to jump in any vehicle at anytime as YOU would be insured and not the vehicle.
  4. Process of elimination, if your getting it on the one bank, simply change the spark plug / coil pack over to the other bank and see if you can replicate the same symptoms on the other side. if you can, and the original side clears up, change your coil pack back and try again, if it stays on the same side. its the plug. if the symptoms move back over to the other bank, its the coilpack. if it doesnt, then its something else, check the connector on the CAS, and clean it up. if that solves it. it was just dirt build up. If not, move onto the PTU and clean the connectors on that. or replace for a known working one. But would help if you said what your experiencing so we can narrow it down better.
  5. wtf, now if he was giving 99% of the price to charity yes, it would be worth it.

  15. id have to say yes to that, i think being able to drive around with the roof off the zed does that to one  Also, cant help but giggle when women with there fellers, stand and stare at you as you drive by, and the feller just looks out of the corner of his eyes, silently saying "what a cock, but i wish i had one"

  21. Mr.F do you happen to have any fender stratocaster stickers laying around? id like to triple the value of my alloys. :D
  22. You have way to much time on your hands. may i suggest getting a knackered zed to fix?
  23. aaawwww had i know that it came with a synchronized tremolo i might of put a offer in for these. But in all honesty why do we need 2 threads on this subject?
  24. Doesnt work like that, for you to legally be able to drive the zed, the zed would still have to be insured on its own policy
  25. As philP said, that is stating that "Insured only" (IE: you, and those insured to do so) can drive your own car, it would be listed under Driving other vehicles
