Yep, just unclip the covering and unplug and unscrew, you can remove it, its but its for the Auto setting on the Heater, so it knows when its too hot and so forth.

Brighter Headlights?
they are easy to do, can cost anywhere between £35 and £99, so shop around, and easy to do, its a plug and play affair. just unplug the old bulb, plug the power into the wiring harness and then the plugs into the bulb that comes with the kit, and plug the bulb into the head light, put the box somewhere and job done. it will even go through the MOT, and as its just a bulb, if your headlights are already set level, then no adjusting to be done.

Have we broken a record?
It seems our site likes a fair fight when it comes to total users on at the same time, compared to other sites. While white washing the "most users online leader board" (yes i know there isnt such a thing, its a bit of banter) with over 700, just seems a little less sporting than when its showing. 98

£118.25 now isnt it?

:)
14mpg is usually the average, raising to 25 - 27 on a motor way cruise, if everything is running ok. Nail it though and expect to be in the 8 to 9 mpg bracket tbh

Hi ya matey, well after reading what you have put, it seems you believe these are quite cheap to run and maintain. if you plan on doing your own work, then yes they are. if you take it to a garage, labour costs can run quite high, very fast. as they are 20 year old sports cars. and usually something either breaks when taking it off, or you run into other difficulty due to age. Personally id be wary about taking the 300zx to anything but a reputable garage, as there have been a few horror stories involving peoples cars around those who haven't worked on them before. Up grades are good, and a nice edition, but get the engine checked property first before upgrading, it could save you a small fortune in the future as putting more power through a engine thats 20 years old with out proper maintenance usually things start to go wrong. A few problem areas to consider. AUTO's If they haven't been maintained properly, can fail at the gear box, this usually means either sourcing a known good replacement as a temporary fix (around 250, to 300 for a good known working box) or going for a full manual conversion thats more reliable (usually anywhere between £500 and £700 for the kit) Turbos spool up quicker, but also lose the power at the higher end faster than the manual, check for smoke being emitted from the exhaust (condensation is fine, but it shouldn't bellow out when revved, or idling after a 30min drive) Check the undersides for Rust on UK cars, especially around the rear sills and bubbling on the arches. if the car has side skirts already, check the sills more so, problem area seems to be the rear arch sill as there is a targa drain whole down in this location, and also the front sill where the arch attaches to the wing underside of the car, as people some times jack the car here, and its not strong enough to cope with the weight, it then gets crushed and can rot in this location. Take the car for a drive, if its a AUTO, make sure the gear changes are smooth with no strange noises, when you get back, leave it idling for a bit before turning it off, pay close attention to see if smoke is being emitted out of the exhaust, also check to make sure its holding its temperature Good luck with your search. if you spot one you like, put a post up, it might be close to a forum member who may be willing to have a look at it for you.

piers and prescott
people in government should be on minimum wage, so they can relate to the people better, sitting in office and earning over 100k a year, plus benefits, plus house, plus holidays, plus......(add anything else they get free) and then sitting there telling everyone how they should be doing this, and that the GDP is skinning the country, just feels like a slap in the face with a slipper with shit on it. I think they all should take a year to live on minimum wage on a council estate before being allowed to run for prime minister, so they know how the lower classes live, then another year on minimum wage doing a 9 to 5 job. maybe it would put things into perspective for them of how most of the country "survive" in the UK

Would you allow your son to do this....?
Well, my daughter is now 3 years old, and since ive been more or less the sole parent with her upbringing, shes a little sweet heart and does what shes told. Shes polite, and well mannered, she says "please" "thank You" "your welcome" and "i have a plan", she also tells me to "slow down" and "too loud" when the musics on, and her latest trick (dunno where shes got it from) is to stand between you and the person your speaking too, raise her arms with palms facing you and the other person and say "calm down, every body just clam down" while waving them up and down. but yeah, im teaching her right from wrong, shes got discipline and i make it so when she helps out, its fun for her so she enjoys it and likes to do it more. My little boy who is 1 and 6 months, is getting there as well. There is no way id let my son go school in a skirt. and unless it was an award of some sort, not sure id want him paraded around in a national paper for doing it either. ill wait till he is older and left home and got his own family before he goes out in a skirt, then he can be a bloody drag queen for all i care. it will be his life. but until then. hes going to do as he is told. and grow up with respect and politeness in him.
