Agree with jim on this one, balancing is the biggest problem with refurbing turbos as you need specialist machines, turbos can spin up to 10k + rpm, so need to be perfectly balanced or can destroy themselves. http://www.turbotechnics.com/ can balance turbos.

Apart from the front of the prop shaft and the torque converter (as the splines are different sizes) can it be done? My main concern would be vibration from the prop with having to join a N/A rear to the TT front.

that vinyl wrap? where did you get in that size, as thats what ive been thinking about doing. just didn't want to end up with one large section, just to do the top bars.

Not a hack, if your net work carrier is orange for instance, and you want your iPhone unlocked to vodaphone or any of the other major networks, you ring them up, pay a fee (£20) and then you plug it into iTunes and it does the rest, a thief won't be able to unblock your phone by changing the IME number, as you can't do it on the iPhone at the present moment

if its contract, you will be better off reporting it so it gets imi blocked, its then just a gloryfied ipod. if its then returned to you, you can ring up and get it unblocked as its your phone. thats the first steps id be taking. also stops them ringing people as it wont connect to any network. not sure about iphone blocking, but as its linked to your Itunes, they might even be able to brick it using itunes. i know they can unlock your phone to any network by using itunes.

im also breaking a zed mate, havent taken the rear bumper off yet, so should have all the bits you require.

Id be looking for any holes / cracks in the pistons, scrape marks on the cylinder walls. oil in the cylinders (as in a small pool) check pictures of the wisco pistons mate vs stock, there should be some differences.

True, but boy does it protect the occupants well. have a look at most of the crash threads on here, and almost everyone walked away with just a few bruises. id much prefer to be in a zed in the event of an accident.

once they are done, they should last mate, so worth getting them repaired in that regard. just keep the under seal sorted out every now and then, and look out for bubbling.

Not sure why he thinks the UK are more sort after, The Tin worm (rust) plagues the UK spec zeds unless they have been REALLY well looked after. more people go for the JDM specs to avoid rust issues. There are a few changes between the two though, uk has 3 point rear seat belts, as well as seat belts mounted on the frame rather than the door, rear fog light on the rear bumper, oblong horrible UK spec rear number plate. and English fuse box cover so you know what fuse has popped.

I fail to see how a comment to do with wearing a burkha is classed as a "boarder line" rasist comment, when people of all races and colors follow the religion and wear it because its a dress code for that religion. The only person i see here bringing race into the equation is you matey. no disrespect, but its boarder line racist to think that only people of another color wear such attire, when clearly its a religious item of clothing and has nothing to do with the color of ones skin. Problem with racism is, its in the eye of the beholder to be quite frank. its a concept thats flashed about far to often to get away from the real issues at hand, and has no place on this forum. This is a car club, we are here to express our thoughts and share our knowledge on the 300zx. we may have a "unrelated" section of the forum for banta and talking about points that are effecting our daily lives. but considering we all stare at the same screen, i see no place for racist comments or religious remarks if its intent is to cause malace, peoples views are too wide spread on both subjects and ultimately they always either boil down to "racism" or "bashing a certain religion" Now baring in mind that this thread was about a boy waring a skirt to school in protest of not being allowed to wear shorts, id like to get back on topic. any more comments about race / religion, that you want to air your views about, please start another thread and keep it amicable. but i see no place for such comments here. if it carries on, than i will have no choice but to lock this thread and delete comments that refer in anyway shape of form to racist remarks, burkhas, or religion.

Welcome matey, can I advice that you create your own account on the forum please, the club doesn't condone sharing of passwords or transfer of accounts/sharing of accounts, I understand that he was doing you a favour but in all honesty it makes our job harder and can complicate matters in the long run, and goes against our AUP. I can remove a stock bonnet on my own and lift it from one side of the car and clear the vehicle with out straining or worrying about dropping it, it's very light
