  3. ive got decats that look exactly like that, im selling connected to a Japspeed rear boxes that ive just sold, they will be coming off my car and be available to sell, i have a AUTO as well, so will defiantly fit. plus they are 2.5" so will fit your rear boxes from cats back.
  4. dont lie, you think i sound like a woman over the phone and that i was trying to convince them that i was indeed female even with the name Ian
  5. hes getting it for his mrs, i do have a mother that drives you know, and shes not too good at computers, so i help her get insurance lol
  6. go for ones not found on the price comparison sites, try quoteline direct as well. if they aint on a price comparison site, they generally tend to be cheaper, also not well known insurance companies tend to be cheaper as they are trying to get your custom. but make sure you search for reviews before you buy. wouldn't bother with sheilas wheels, they are over priced. direct line, even though they say "no middle man" are also very expensive i found compared to others.
  7. im drilling pilot holes really slowly and then using a drill bit that just fits the whole, first one that came out, must of left thread as the remaining nut came out like a tiny spring. but the threads look rusted through out the hole, so no wonder the bolt didn't give up too easily.
  8. as rob has said, he is having problems at the moment, so cant get online.
  9. got jeff sending me a new one lol, bugger, should of thought about borrowing that tool and getting it out and doing it. Jimmer, any hints on what to do if i end up stripping the threads on these turbo housing while drilling these bolts out? what size tapping tool im going too need? also gotta find replacement bolts lol
  10. yeah but the difference is, you have done it before, he hasnt, i know there is no way you would just stand there, you would get stuck in at some point as you love doing it
  11. am indeed, but always like a hand, rather than what my mate said "ill come and help you" and then just stood there for moral support
  12. all my breakers have vanished to the scrap yard, didnt get the bonnet stops off doh! but as i said, dont need one at the moment, just wouldnt mind having one for the tool kit. as thats a bugger of a bit to remove.
  13. gratz bud, now pop around to mine lol
  14. Mine would be - Galileo - Leonardo da vinci - Albert einstein.
  15. I dont need to take it out, i need to put it in. lol Im doing a Auto to Auto conversion. But could you make me one?, could do with one of them in my tool kit lol
  16. Just do what i do, i only play when its a roll over, i still have just as much chance as winning it as anyone else, so why not do it on the big wins only. But knowing my luck, if i played the normal one, the day i win, would be the day its a 2mill lottery jack pot, and 2 mil other people will have the same friggin numbers and ill get my quid back.
  17. cant wait, them and the auto spigot bearing are whats really stopping me from starting the engine transplant. Once they are sorted, might even just forget about doing re polish on the plenum, as i have 2 spares anyway, so might just put the old one back on half polished (as it came off the old engine) and then once ive got a very nicely polished plenum, do the swap. as im doing a water by pass anyway so will be easier to do the swap later.
  18. little update on the turbo saga, got some el cheap-O easy outs from ebay, thought what the hell, if it works, bargain, if it doesnt turbos have to come off. Well drilled my first pilot hole and put the easy out in, and did it up, it tightened then proceeded to snap, oh well, back to the old fashioned way then, got my drill on another snapped bolt with a drill bit, slow and steady she went, till the bloody thing snapped, so used a smaller drill bit. again slow and steady she went. ended up through the bolt. so got a bigger size drill bit, and drilled it out. and pulled the rest of the snapped bolt out like a tiny spring. One down, 3 to go, one with added bits. Anyway started on bolt hole 2, and got all the way through it, only to run out of drill juice when i started with the larger drill bit. Not sure im going to save the threads, but at least im able to get the snapped bit out, will be easier to re thread it if i need too. Anyway, currently waiting on my drill to charge again now lol
  19. At least i know i wont pass out when i do win and get my ticket stolen  actually didn't feel that bad about not winning. just the adrenaline from the suspected win made me all shaky for a bit.
  20. Biggest win on national lottery was £10, biggest win on euro millions was 12.50. ive won more on scratch cards, had £75 from 6 scratch cards in the same day, each one from different shops, and only bought with the winnings of the last scratch card until i stopped winning. But i once thought id got all 6 numbers, forgot i had grabbed a print out of the winning numbers, got to work, put the tv on and went to the lottery page to display the winning numbers and checked the bloody thing off against the winning number print out ticket id got already. for a few brief moments, i felt like a lottery 6 number winner. meh!, didnt win anything on the actual ticket lol
  21. thanks for the link mate, but thats just a carbon fiber OEM bonnet, im after this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/300zx-300-zx-90-96-Nissan-AMS-VIS-Carbon-Fiber-Hood-/250661816688?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a5c9bc970 with the vents in it, but not sticky up vents. I did how ever email one of the traders on ebay who does the style i want, shipping is a whooping $800, ontop of $700 for the bonnet, at current exchange rates, thats £800 for a bonnet. I am really tempted for next year now. not many people with that style of vented bonnet and i like how its indented rather than sticky uppy lol
  22. Right guys, bit of info for you. Drivers are free, passengers £5 per person, there are 2 places available in a white studio area, so might have to have a bit of a competition to see who gets the spaces and a photo shoot of their cars. Its looking more like its going to be better for people on the 31st of this month (gives me time to get my car on the road lol)
  23. why on earth has it got them drilled into it? this a mod i dont know about?
