ooh just remember to change them turbos over, the ones on it are fubared.

once you get a engine hoist id check that oil pan first make sure its not dented. i didnt drop it but as we were lifting it and moving it about to get it in the car it still might be a good idea to check it. dont want it to starve the engine as it cant pick up the oil or you will be back to square one.

have you striped it yet? or you just going to stick bits back on and try it out? if its striped i want to see pictures lol

Unplugging the O2 sensors gives it a base rating. ive unplugged mine for now as i need to change one of them and havent got around to doing it yet lol

do you know if its got uprated turbos on it? sounds like very loud turbo spool up, do you get any smoking from the exhaust, discounting the condensation you get this time of the year, it will have a blue tinge to it if its oil and you will be able to smell it as well. EDIT doh! you answered while i was typing out my reply lol

is there any chance with the help of someone that you can get the sound recorded, its bad enough trying to help diagnose something at the best of times, but with sounds its always better to have a recording of some type. If need help to upload it once you have the recording, use photobucket as you can upload videos / audio and image files to it. forgot to add, do you get any smoke from the exhaust, could be the start of one of the turbos seizing.

The thing is though mate, you can go on ebay or piston heads to compare spec and prices as to whats best to put the price at. All i can see that is going to happen, is people are going to come on and ask to buy it, as thats what always happens with these "whats it worth" threads, thus turning it into a forsale thread. Most havent, the amount of looks I get driving mine im always driving around with a smile on my face, well till something goes wrong and your sitting at the side of the road with waiting for a recovery truck, then it doesn't matter how good it looks, people snigger lol
