  1. i asked some one in the know the same question . dye wont take because in car seats there is a high level of synthetic fibres . apparently dye will only work on natural fibres like cotton and wool.
  2. they dont do MOT,s at zedworld . but they will give everything a good check . i enquired with them about mine . they do the work and use a tester that is familiar with zeds
  3. just had another look . nice car matey . side view is the same but different round the back . mines got stock spoiler and big single pipes .
  4. nice 1 paul wheres the best place to get 1 plus the badges
  5. is wasnt me but if i drove past in mine you would think i,d nicked yours too . very very similar , when i looked at your car i thought bloody hell thats mine.
  6. hi . can anyone tell me if the black strip under stock spoiler is perspex or is it just a sticker . my spoiler is not the stock foam jobby but the plastic version with the brake light in that matches original . would the black strip fit this without being modded or is there a slight difference with the shaping.
  7. if its still limited it must be still reading in kms . all you do is take the clocks out and fit a converter to mph . takes about an hour from start to finish . little box costs about £25 and its just a case of splicing 3 or 4 wires . 2 out of 10 for dificulty
  8. hi , saw a lovely dark blue soft top zed at 7.15am in coleshill . looked just like 1 i saw for sale in tamworth last august
  9. alright mate . i might have answered this before , not sure . definately put your best speakers in the front . it depends whether you are a drum and bass junkie or if you just like clarity of sound . if its the later you wont beat focal speakers . they are pricey but if you keep checking on ebay try and find a good used set . go for polyglass or k power components. avoid the entry level stuff . another exellent make is harmon kardon . its what bmw stick in there luxury stuff . for a laugh type in focal utopia . make sure you are sitting down before you look at the price .
  10. bloody hell . looks just like my t tonight only 4 times bigger
  11. the size of him if he said he wanted steak he,d have bloody steak . he looks like a bulked up boxer . same face
  12. is he crossed with something or do you feed him steroids lol
  13. hmmm . dont think they would get too cosy with him about . top dog mate
  14. its pretty easy to do but beware . rats love to live under it . for this reason you are best to have a couple of courses of bricks around edge to stop the little barks getting in.
  15. not as pretty as my zed
  16. hi . been looking at some wheels . 8.5 front and 9 rear . been told offset is plus 42 . i dont wanna mess with my arches , like them original . will these fit ok . oh 18 rims if this makes a difference. cheers oh forgot to say . car has not been lowered nor do i want it to be .
  17. they were badly worn . when jacked up the rear wheels could be rocked 3 or 4 mm . driving a quick car with wobbly back wheels is not good . took the arms out and got them pressed . just like new . another thing that was happening with mine was it tended to follow grooves in the road that wagons leave . i feared the worst but was an easy fix
  18. alright mate . sounds like your hicas arms . mine were shagged and car felt deadly when it kicked down the arse end would go . jack it up at back and give the wheels a wobble . i got mine re-pressed for only a tenner a side . car feels rock solid now . andy
  19. alright al . have a look at a post i put up a while back . really works . leaky targa fix
  20. wait till your hair starts to fade a bit . my tt is less to insure than my volvo . still aint worked this one out yet.
  21. hiya dave . if you have the bose boxes in the back 6.5 will drop straight in . be carefull on the depth of speakers you buy . the passenger side is shallower due to petrol filler pipe . i had to trim away a bit of the plastic box to get the same fit as the other side . its also worth dropping some deadener in around the bose box for a better sound and also less rattling from the arches when you stereo is off . it used to drive me mad the sound of gravel and stuff clattering my arches
  22. i better get the cover on the zed . shes only just been painted
  23. i always thought that programme was a bit of a laugh but they was proper shi**ing themselves.
  24. pretty sure thats vw /audi fit . possibly merc
  25. hiya mate . firstly congrats on choosing a zed . your pic dosent show which seat has gone but im guessing its the drivers seat bolster thats gone . just like most zeds . you have 2 chances of finding a good 1 . slim and none , and slims out of town 235 on the back is a bit narrow . you can get away with them but ideally you want 265 /275. the speedo thing is a good sign as it meens its still limited . not been thrashed . only costs £25 for the converter and will take about an hour to do . easy job good luck andy
