  4. Yes bud , all should do this it,s just locking and unlocking , it has to unlock when you take your foot off the gas or you,d get engine braking like you would in a manual when coasting in gear . If you use the autobox manually , ie shifting from first to second to drive with overdrive off it locks in every gear to give you better acceleration , I think in normal drive mode it only locks in third and fourth, believe me you can feel the difference , especially in second gear  The box,s feel different with O/D on and off , O/D off ( no fourth ) when you take your foot off the gas in 3rd you do get a little bit of engine braking even after the T/C,s unlocked , O/D on ( in fourth ) take your foot of the gas and they just keep rolling with no resistence at all . HTH Steve BTW if any of this is wrong i,m sure someone will put me right :D

  6. When your cruising they do lock but soon as you release the accelerator it unlocks then once your back on the accelerator it should lock again after a few moments giving you a direct drive  well mine always has  If it,s jumping on and off lock whilst having your foot constantly on the accelerator then as suggested it sounds very much like a TPS problem giving the gearbox ecu dodgy data and confusing it  Hope you get it sorted Steve but do let us know what it turns out to be .

  15. I see all the major airlines are cashing in on the poor sods either stuck abroad or losing their holidays !!! We normally go with another couple but sadly they can,t make it this year so this year the missus and i thought we,d hang and get a last minute deal and save a few quid , i,ve been watching some all inclusive holidays in Turkey , a few weeks ago the prices dropped a little , great i thought their on their way down then last week they went back up and over the last few days they,ve shot up :headvswal Went to the travel agent yesterday , they said the flights are dissapearing fast and this year they,ve not seen any last minute deals !!! just my bloody luck . They checked on one holiday i,d been watching and overnight it had gone up £300 , making a weeks holiday cost a shade under £1500:rant: Did manage to find one though so at least we can have a week in the sun :duffer::duffer::dance::dance: Rip off britain at ts best . Rant over .
