A mate of mines got a Bluebird zx turbo , him and his old man had just come off the motorway , turned a corner near his home and the back end dropped and spun round on him, luckily he did,nt hit owt , checked under the car and the rear lower arm had snapped !!! . All the arms were rotten , he,s obviously replaced them now but it could have been far worse , luck was definately on his side that day .

It could be the valve on the side of the matrix thats sprung a leak or the rubber gaskits which seal the pipes that screw onto the matrix , i would,nt have thought the matrix would corrode that quick :confused:

I did my water pipes , used a DA sander using 180grit paper to remove the casting finish then sanded again using finer and finer grades of sanding disk , finishing off with 500 grit disks then attacked them with a polishing kit from Frost Automotive ,once sanded it only took about 20 minutes to polish up I also would like to get a plenum and give it a go :hyper:
